@@teayuja123 Absolutely! Thank you so much for your comment and for suggesting such a meaningful topic. I agree, healing from past attachment traumas and changing old patterns is a profound journey. I'm currently working on a video exploring this theme in depth, and I can't wait to share it with you. In the meantime, it's definitely possible to maintain a relationship with someone who has avoidant or fearful avoidant attachment styles. It requires understanding, patience, and effective communication from both partners. Each attachment style comes with its own challenges, but with mutual effort and a willingness to grow, a healthy and fulfilling relationship is achievable. Thank you again for your thoughtful suggestion! Stay tuned for the upcoming video.

Thank you this was direct and succinct. I've been trying to come to terms with why I've been attracted to something that wasn't good for me. Realising more that what the other person gave was part of what I needed, yet the other part was challenging my shortcomings. Seeing your last video on giving I realise that I've figured some things out, and gotten better at acknowledging my own boundaries. A naive part of me has wanted to reconnect with the other person to heal things together, or help them and help myself by getting a form of resolution. Yet I'm also very weary scared of getting back together with the other person as I don't want to be trapped in the same dynamic and she might not be ready to shed layers, and I don't want to lose face, again. So best if I could get to the place wear I understand and accept the past and don't begrudge what happened. A part of me wants to mend the past as you said, and hard to let go of something we never had, but felt like we had.

It sounds like you’ve made significant progress in understanding yourself and your boundaries. It's completely natural to have mixed feelings about wanting to reconnect and heal past wounds while also being cautious about repeating old patterns.Reconnecting might provide some closure, but it can also risk reopening old wounds if both parties aren’t ready for it.Sometimes, letting go is the healthiest option, allowing both individuals to move forward independently.

I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling this way. It's true that repeated hurts can make us feel numb and detached. It's important to acknowledge these feelings and seek support, whether through friends, family, or a professional counselor. Healing takes time and effort, but it's possible to find meaning and joy again. You're not alone in this.
