Just as a river shapes a stone through patient persistence, so too do hairstylists sculpt our souls with scissors and conversations, creating the masterpiece of our lives.

I feel like I lost touch with so many during the pandemic because of not being able to go to the salon with my girls. I have never seen that place busier though, when the mandates were lifted. Oh the chatter to catch up on!!

The pandemic has undoubtedly caused a sense of disconnection and loss for many of us. Not being able to visit the salon and have that quality time with your girls must have been tough. However, the fact that the place became busier after the mandates were lifted is a beautiful reminder of the resilience of human connections. It's heartwarming to imagine the vibrant atmosphere filled with laughter, stories, and the excitement of catching up on all that was missed. Those moments are truly precious!

The pandemic has brought about a unique set of challenges, including a feeling of losing touch with friends and loved ones. It's understandable that not being able to visit the salon with your girls has added to that sense of disconnection. However, the bustling atmosphere that followed the lifting of mandates is a beautiful testament to the human need for connection and the eagerness to catch up on all the conversations and experiences missed. May you have many delightful moments of reconnecting and reminiscing! 💯

I only tuned in because I'm trying to broaden my viewing habits, to include things outside of what I usually view, so that I can get views and perspectives from a wide range of people and voices. This talk warmed my heart. Imagine a world where everyone strives to make others feel heard, seen, and loved. It might sound utopian, but if hairstylists can do it, why not the rest of us?

I think the ripple effect Elizabeth mentioned in the talk is actually really powerful, when you work at being present and are able to connect with a person there is such opportunity for genuine good vibes to be produced and that can in turn inspire the other person to go on and do the same thing. Like a chain reaction fueled by positivity

This presentation is a beautiful reminder that we all have the potential to change the world in our own way. By making others feel heard, seen, and loved, we can create a positive impact and contribute to a more compassionate society.

Absolutely. There are many _different_ ways to help change the world though and sometimes people are better at being who they are and allowing others to do the same rather than the whole support and compassion thing

I struggled with self-confidence for a long time until I went to a new salon one day.... It's remarkable how a hairstylist's act of kindness and encouragement can shape someone's perception of themselves. It's a reminder of the immense influence we have on each other's lives.
