Thanks a lot for these clips they are a lot more manageable when you have a lot of time constraints, i really appreciate it. I used to go through your really long vods and note down stuff about nutrition. But it got tiring and wasn't manageable in the long run, so now i can finally keep up with the stuff you post that i specifically want to know more about!

Avmacol has made a major difference to the anger/irritability in our 5yo ASD Level 2 son. Can't speak highly enough of it.. game changer within 4 weeks for us... behaviour now improved 50%, which is a god send... any reduction in 'battles' is awesome, let alone 50% fewer! :)

Have you had any success with dietary change away from gmo and acidic foods? Seems the problems is, the gi tracts of bunches of kids are messed up causing developmental delays..... this explosion in ASD started when glyphosate was allowed to increase in food (but had been going on for quite some time) as a result of it being used as a harvest desiccant for non gmo crops such as oats, wheat and chickpea....as an adult here, I had to stop eating cheerios because it as bothering my gut back 10 years ago or so......odd stuff, as if autism is being normalized.....back in the mid 90's when I trained in child psychology (post grad) we were taught to refer ASD kids to outside of school agencies because it was so rare....now, it's a major part of the training. The gal here on my town serving ASD kids went from 2 employees to over 30 in the last 15 years..... some period these hard to digest gmo cry1 proteins and glyphosate fully permeated the food supply.....I suspect 99% of ASD kids have some level of intestinal permeability (leaky gut), and the subsequent immune system response and neurological problems on top of poor nutrient absorption.....this appears to the root of some problems, for both kids and adults. How could 25 % of the population now identify as "gluten sensitive", tons of people with food allergies, gi tract disorders like IBS and Crohn's through the roof, and many, many psych problems everywhere?

@@curiousbystander9193 Yes ASD has gone from 1 in 10,000 in 1 in 50 boys in 40 years.. re: the diet question, it is so hard because our son is SUPER picky so we are stuck in the nuggets/french fries sort of realm, which we reduce inflammation thru Olive Oil (Omega 9's).. our first breakthru was the Nemechek Protocol and the use of pre-biotics, but now adding Avmacol has been life changing for us and our son's aggression is waaaaaaaaay down - happy days..

@@melaniearellano6314 you have me curious about Avmacol....thanks.... glad to hear his behavior is normalizing some..... just a note....kid's cereals have roundup in them these days, and this appears to negatively impact the gut biome.....I had to stop eating cheerios in 2011 because they were part of slow/poor digestion problems..... there's something so disturbing about what is going on, with no research published on how these gmo cry1 proteins and roundup influence the gut biome.....they are now using glyphosate to harvest non gmo crops such as oats, wheat and chick pea......I do believe some healing can occur with your son.....keep up the good work. ps. it may be worth trying low acid foods too, ie, no canned food or drink, and many fruits are quite acidic, but melons in particular are lower acid, and stone fruit too.great to hear olive oil is part of the mix as I am quite sure most of these processed seed oils are toxic but marketed as healthy, particularly canola and sunflower seed oils......a sure bet for slowing down digestion of food. take care and I'd love to hear he's meeting his developmental milestones...one step at a time. www.washingtonpost.com/business/2020/01/27/kelloggs-quietly-commits-reducing-widely-used-herbicide-supply-chain-only-farmers-didnt-know-about-it/

The warm, humid conditions needed to grow sprouts are also ideal for germs to grow. Eating raw or lightly cooked sprouts, such as alfalfa, bean, or any other sprout, may lead to food poisoning from Salmonella, E. coli, or Listeria. Thoroughly cooking sprouts kills the harmful germs and reduces the chance of food poisoning. how does one avoid this problem when you cannot grow your own as well.

Store bought sprouts can be an issue, especially alfalafel. But if you wash them potentially in a bit of vinegar and just flush twice a day you can even keep them in the fridge. And not grow more then 8-9days worth i think you should be fine from my personal experience. But keep away from raw meat etc ofc

Thank you for your efforts to improve human health. One of my imagined windows into health, is the physical appearance of health video participants: I wish I knew the age of each participant and could examine the annual photograph of each participant. So then, I could attempt to visually assess, from their physical appearance, whether their personal health knowledge was able to preserve their health and, perhaps also, wonder why some of them apparently benefited more from their personal health knowledge than the others.

So what I do I leave them in the vinegar solution for ~10 minutes and then I put them into hot water (70 degrees exactly) for another 10 minutes. They really have this strong bitter smell and taste. I was thinking about buying more jars however maybe after watching this I will keep it as it is, it's less work and I can have them almost every other day. You never know maybe there is such thing as Sulforaphane tolerance, I am having well over 100g of sprouts in one dose.

I'd recommend to people to do a thorough read on "broccoli sprouts".....when I did, I recall a specific chemical was produced during sprouting, and it's not good for you....affects hormone functioning if I recall correctly.......the tops of the florets are void of this chemical....so it's the florets you want to eat, not the sprouts...... ps, anyone with IBS or crohns should avoid the stalk of the broccoli as it has something (I believe - lectins) in it that is not healthy for the gut biome..makes sense, the farther down the stalk you go the more it appears to be expressed in the plant....so again...eat the florets.

Eat 1 slice of cantaloupe each morning, get chevre goat cheese in your diet regularly, limit acidic foods, drinks, and fruits, stay way clear of g m o foods and anything with high levels of gli phosate like cereals, and never eat things like caramel colorings, preservatives, gums, and crap like sodium benzoate. just my 2 cents. oh yeah, no sugar too...... I had terrible issues related to lyme, gluten, and alpha gal allergy....went from a dr telling me he wanted part of my colon 8 years ago to rare gi events..... but I'm in charge of that, and I cheat sometimes, but less and less....and you'll see too, the more you straighten out the gut biome the less poor food choices you make, higher frustration tolerance, better life in face of it's stresses, cause they are always gonna be there..... I guess 3 cents...good luck, or maybe, happy food tests....cause some foods, indeed, make people happy the next day....we all just gotta find them.

DO NOT EAT RAW SPROUTS PERIOD. Especially if you try to do this at home. I bought a couple sprouting jars, and no matter how careful you are, you are all but putting out the welcome sign for E. coli, Salmonella, and who knows what else that grows in the dark. The only way to eat sprouts safely is to THOROUGHLY cook them beforehand, ironically, the same way as you would prepare meat! And then guess what? Cooking destroys all the super nutrients that sprouting offers, which means the whole project is a pointless exercise. Fortunately, I only bought a couple jars, which can be easily be repurposed. There are plenty of wonderful, healthy vegan dishes - cooked beans and lentils, steamed broccoli and kale, baked potatoes - to enjoy without needlessly exposing yourself to the absolutely real and deadly dangers of E. coli, Salmonella. Worth repeating loud and clear: DO NOT EAT RAW SPROUTS PERIOD.
