How Long Does The Aiper Scuba SE Actually Last

I’ve read comments that say it dumps all the debris back in the pool when you pick it up. Is this true?

Maybe if it collected a lot of debris and it was overflown it's possible. But from the times I've used it, the bottom tray is never full capacity so I didn't notice anything falling out
