Luv the part about being able to stand down in the onerous hyper-awareness of one's perception by others when being alone, thus only being comfortable when alone. Newish term "Isolophile" is related to this.

@@SchizoidVision Vaknin has a brief video on it recently on his channel. That's where I picked it up. I agree it's a very good word. There are subtleties where maladaptive isolation can morph into adaptive, productive, and even happy solitude.
