I wish I learned this in high school. I was depressed in high school because I was highly judged and bullied by catty classmates. They originally perceived me as smart girl who wore polo because I kept winning geography games at school and wore (Ralph Lauren) polo on most days. When I deviated from their perceptions, such as wearing a “lower” brand of clothing and bombing a major test, they bullied me like crazy, and bam! My “perfect” image was tarnished. I felt as if I were released from prison when I graduated from high school. I have also been controlled in horrible relationships. I felt I had to do this and not do that to be accepted; otherwise, I would be dumped. For example, I was to wear frumpy clothes that were totally not my style and not to go anywhere without him to keep my relationship with my daughter’s dad. Once I woke up and left him, again, I felt as if I were released from prison. I am your fan for life because you encourage us to be ourselves and be classy, confident, elegant and feminine while we establish boundaries so that we do not fall into traps of bad relationships. Yes, when I dress up, people treat us like royalty, and I did today at church and when I went shopping afterwards. I stood out among people who dressed like slobs at the stores, and people treated us with respect. ♥️💕💐

Boundaries are key to your image!! The more established and closed your boundaries are, the more they will respect you even if they express their respect through resentment! And humor is a must!! It shows that you don’t feel the person’s opinion is important enough to hurt you, it will be a huge redirection for them! Why should they criticize you when they are just laughed at? They will stay within your boundaries after that. Anger shows them they don’t have to respect your boundaries because they can distract you by getting to your head.

In general-- it is great advice to ignore what others say or think. However, sometimes people take that as an excuse to not fix their own character flaws, which really need to be corrected. I feel like the balance is that we need to be confident enough to screen out what is what is not needed-- and humble enough to take in what will help us become better😁

omg you are a vision, and thank you for what you do embodying your best self and embracing your best life that helps to empower others to do and live their own best version and vision. I have found so much peace and grace since i let go of inauthentic and unaligned connections and people and just mind my business (myself and my life more authentically and UNAPOLOGETICALLY). When i was younger and in a low state, i also felt at times jealousy and envy and then i would feel guilty and ashamed. Now that i am older and in a much better state, after doing my inner work, i catch and check my ego and shadow and just remind myself that i don't want to be anyone other than me and i don't need what's not mine. It comes down to compassion and confidence. Our value and integrity is ours and no one and nothing can undermine or destroy that.

I really see rihanna as the bohemian archetype. Early in her career from 2006 to 2009 she embodied the dark rebellious ingenue archetype but when 2010 came she became more rebellious and wild and even more desirable to the point men desperately want to be with her such as men like Chris brown and drake. She grew out of the ingenue archetype and became the bohemian. She is such a queen😍💯💞

This was really helpful for me, being in high school you get unnecessary comments from sooo many people and it’s 100x worse that I’m in an all girls school. Speaking of school, there are a lot of stairs and the boys from the boys school always joke about how awkward it is to walk behind a girl going up the stairs, if people are walking behind me when it is crowded it would be great to know how to at least walk up the stairs in a polished fashion 😂 is there any specific way? It would be really good to know because my school is strict and teachers are always telling other students to stand up straight

People try to control you. They have different experiences, thus they have only perception about you. They are not as successful as you. Successful people are concerned about their goals and family, they're not bitter. Don't listen to people who are doing less than you. Take everything with humor, stay calm, don't waste your energy on them. Accept that people have different opinions. You don't have to convince everybody. It's ok to ignore. Let go of the desire to control the perception that people have of you. Be okay with people not liking you. Being confident is about embracing who you are and not trying to please people. Looking your best can make you feel more confident. When you look your best, you feel your best. People going to try adjust their behavior to yours. Call the disrespect one time if they continue, leave the conversation. You aren't perfect, we all make mistakes. Embrace your imperfections and laugh about yourself."Yeah, and?" What really matters is what you think about yourself. Take the high road of positive mindset. People who get offended easily are the ones with the lowest self-esteem. This person doesn't matter anyway. Let the people be clowns 🤡.

I see what u mean, and would otherwise not be offended, but think that sometimes these same people affecr ur bottom line (at work, or make others who might matter to u, question themselves about u) u need to do a video about putting them in their place. I can really care less if its not someone who affects me in any way financially or in the relationships that I treasure, but sometimes people know where the jugular vein is and they go for it.
