How to change a Chuck on a cordless drill, without damaging the gearbox.

This is one of the safest ways to remove a stiff or broken Chuck without risking damaging the gear box.
If the Allen key don't work, this is my next method.

My chuck was able to grab an allen-key socket, but absolutely nothing could knock it loose. My impact wrench didn't do a thing. This method was the only way to get the old chuck off. I made the same cuts that you did and it worked great. Thank you!

He usually puts the same chuck on any brand drill. That's what I'd do, rather than keep stock of every brands meh quality chucks
