Thanks DbC. I started using pans as pie tins when I was living in a farmhouse and cooking on an Aga. Then I got the idea of putting the handle back on to present the pie. This is my favourite pie to eat cold as a picnic pie 😋

The epitome of "Cheap n Cheerful". That is if you grow your own Leeks in the US. $3-5 each over here. Luckily we do grow our own. 😊 Sorry, it's been a while my friend. It's garden season here and Mother Nature is being brutal this year. Roller coaster temps, no rain for 2+ weeks in May, 25 days of rain in June. This year planting and replanting because we "have too", not because we can. Oh well, what doesn't kill us, only makes us wiser/stronger. Nice cook Pete 👍👍👍👍👍
