This feels like a control piece aimed at hybrid work or work from home. It's cost. The rising cost of everything is what's stressing us all out. That, global tensions and fears of continued and spreading war. It's not the lack of being at the office. Ridiculous.

I used to punch myself on the side of the face repeatedly after most phonecalls when working at ny cubicle job. One day they called me into the HR department to show me security footage of me doing this. They then fired me, so I kicked a hole in my cubicle before leaving, and they took it out of my final paycheck.

Stress is an entirely necessary part of life. Our biological and neurological systems are set up to cope and work through it, they improve with exposure, particularly when young. We are losing the context in trying to remove stress, rather than working with it. Too much stress leads to early death, too little stress also leads to early death.
