Ingredients used| Measurements (g=grams) | Total 100g each
Two larged sized carrot
Calendula herbs
What you need👇🏽
A handful of carrot crumbs
A handful of calendula herb
vegetable glycerin 120ML
warm distilled water 80ML
Follow the instructions in the video to achieve natural plant base extract.

Do I need to add preservative
Answer:No /optional
Why?
Answer: Any formulation that has water needs to be preserved as bacteria grow easily in water. Yes! But the glycerin used in making this extract makes room for preservation and is more forgiving so your extract doesn’t spoil or grow bacteria.

Do you also have products like Oliveem 1000, Cetyl Alcohol, Kojic Acid Powder, Licorice Powder, vitamin e, Jojoba Oil, Rosehip oil, Glycolic acid, preservative Eco, lavender and orange essential oils, etc. Do you supply/deliver? Also, do you have product for reducing the PH in cream? I don't mean lye.

Glycerine is not only a preservative but a stronger menstrum that helps extract your actives better than water. There are some phytochemicals that are mot soluble in water which your glycerine can extract. So it would be much more potent if the carrot and calendular are infused in the water and glycerine combined together and left to sit for weeks 2 to 8weeks depends on what you are using it for... For skin and hair, 2weeks is fine but for medicinal purpose, 4 to 8weeks or even more. The longer your period of infusion the more potent your extract will be....

That is why we used the amount of glycerin we did which covers for the water content and this would last up to a year and more. The preservative is not necessary and since we are trying to create a naturally derived extract.

Am a professional formulator ,even if you have only 1% of water in it,it need to be preserve,it will only last one week in fridge. Like I said I like your ideal and how you extract the botanicals but it should be preserved.

How do you know how much herbs to put? Do you write it in percentage and transfer to G like oil, please help

For the herb, i usually do half the size of liquid I’d use.

Glycerin is what keeps it’s protected and doesn’t let bacterial grow in it after a few days

Calendula is a plant. The flower is used to make medicine. Calendula flower is commonly used for wounds, rashes, infection, inflammation, and many other conditions.

This is a great video but I also think shouldn’t be shared because there’s no information on how big or small the molecules are after extracting or even how active the extracts are after “baking” the carrots.
