Wow...this was a huge revelation for me & my understanding of qi!!! I'm a guy whose mind thinks very logically, and so it's always been extremely difficult for me to grasp and understand esoteric ideas such as qi. I knew qi was supposed to be a type of powerful energy, but it always seemed to be something that was only real in legends, myths, and immortal cultivation stories. It didn't seem like something people could possibly feel, let alone make use of (I mean, come on, throwing a punch and it somehow hitting someone 20 feet away? Yeah right...). Then I came across your video here. I never once had thought that qi was likely just a type of electromagnetism or something like that. I always assumed that it was some mystical force - it had to be, given what it could do in those stories! Hearing you say that it is a form of electromagnetism made everything click into place for my understanding of qi. Suddenly, it's no longer a mystical force, but one that can be understood. If qi is a type of electromagnetism, then that would mean that it's essentially a type of radio frequency that operates across an incredibly wide spectrum. If that's the case, then wouldn't it mean that learning to sense qi is, essentially, training your mind and body to become ever more sensitive to the naturally-occurring radio frequencies which every natural things gives off and collects, from rocks, to plants and animals, to water, to the very air we breathe? Of course, sensing such frequencies would be difficult at first, due not only to the sheer level of noise given off by all of humanity's electronics and things like WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, satellites beaming data all over the world, cell phones, TV antennas, radios, etc, but also due to the likely fact that the frequencies given off and absorbed by the natural world are tiny and very, very quiet in comparison. But if one were to train their minds and bodies to "tune in" to those super quiet natural frequencies, and if they could learn to manipulate them, would it not be possible to perform feats such as throwing a punch or kick and sending the frequencies towards a target/opponent and hitting them with a concentrated, condensed amount of this electromagnetism or whatnot with the force of an actual punch or kick? Suddenly, the impossible seems to have become possible, albeit only with a hell of a lot of dedicated training. Honestly, as silly/stupid as this may sound, I now see no real barrier to someone being able to kill a person hundreds of feet away with a simple flick of their finger. Granted, such a feat would require one to achieve an unimaginably high level of understanding, knowledge, and control over qi. The kind of understanding, knowledge, and control that would certainly take a hundred years of super dedicated training to even have a hope of achieving, and obviously humans don't live long enough (nor do we stay in good enough physical condition for long enough) to even hope to get to that point. But barring that single issue, I can't help but think that if a person were somehow able to live long enough and be in good enough physical health the whole time, they might one day reach a point where they had a level of control to do such things. An intriguing thought, nonetheless.

Interesting thoughts! I’ve met a few masters who have built up this electrical quality of qi to the point they can make your whole body convulse with electric shocks by touching you. Look up “john chang ring of fire bbc” on youtube for a great example of that. Fair warning though, those guys tend to spend about 6 hours a day for 20-30 years training to get that ability, and often die young from heart issues. Fascinating to watch though!

I kid you not, after doing the hands and the calf exercise, I immediately had to use the bathroom, when before I started I had no urge... Definitely energy moving. And sorry for the overshare, lmao.

Amazing. I’ve had some techniques I’ve been practicing for a while but they were mostly mental. I’m excited to dive into more physical methods of generating and cultivating Qi.

I just found this. A great way to get going if you need a quick fix. When I lived in Việt Nam, I'd go to my dance class early in the morning and see elderly Vietnamese rubbing their face and around their eyes, supposedly to encourage good sight and mind. Face Qigong exercises would be interesting. I should have delved deeper into what they were doing.

Great video!! I agree with you, that Qi and bio electric energy seems like the same thing. I love your graphics. I am still working at feeling qi in my whole body, I haven't felt it in my head yet, but I remember the first time I felt it in my chest from tapping on my sternum, it was WILD!!! I was so excited. Now i can feel it every time, ha, and in my legs and arms. Once during a (one time thing) massage, i felt it in my whole torso, that was the ultimate, and what I'm working towards.

Awesome! Yes, I tend to notice I feel it most when I practice most consistently. Most I ever felt it though was from my teacher when he electrocuted me lol

Piezoelectric refers to the phenomenon of quartz crystal developing a current when hit or put under stress or strain Keyword here is crystal Bones are not crystalline so fail to understand your explanation if you read even a little about piezoelectricity you would understand this I too feel chi but your explanation doesn't feel right to me I am not trying to be rude here just want to ensure that people don't get the wrong idea After experiencing first hand i cant deny it is real There is one consistent thing i ve noticed happens everytime i try to feel chi my palms develop this white and pink spots at first i feel heat then some light tingling with it if i keep my focus between my hand further then there it starts to feel magnetic like my hands are repelling each other if a move one of my hands a little i feel my other hand being pushed too i havent been able to make someone else feel the same thing though using own chi though does this happen to anyone can anyone explain it

Yes and no, a lot of substances have piezoeletricity, and that includes bones...there is DEFINITELY a connection between our energy/force and electricity, therefore the fact that our bones have an element of piezoelectricity must be considered and explored.. Wishing you good vibes as I journey on this search for truth, peace, knowledge and wisdom..

Thank you. I am generally very resistant to such. How can I improve my chances of feeling something?
@TheNickLoffree
@TheNickLoffree 4 жыл бұрын
Ah, yes, this is not uncommon. There seems to be a spectrum of chi sensitivity. My teacher tells me not to worry about it too much, as the capacity to feel chi is not necessarily related to how much chi one has or is able to cultivate. Plus, trying to force oneself to feel special sensations during practice can just create more stress and further block your chi anyways. If chi sensations aren't showing up as obvious to you, then I would look for other metrics for how your practice is going, such as whether your emotional state is improving after practice, whether you have more energy, whether your mind feels more clear. etc. These are all the things we really want out of practice anyways, so they are what we should all be looking for regardless of our "chi". Great question, and keep practicing! Nick

An easy wat to expose evil spirits is to repeat this prayer to Christ for at least 20 minutes. "Lord Jesus Christ, son of God, have mercy on me a sinner," The Jesus prayer burn them. The chi demons will most likely get violent and start swearing at you. Ignore them and keep going. They will eventually be pushed out
