Findind your own art style is a journey within. It's not something that will come over night, although it may already be there, inside of you, just awaiting to arise. It's the byproduct of many decisions we make in our artistic journey, but in order to fully manifest we must get ride of all uncessary barriers and things that makes to believe we have to make art in this or that way. Let me try to help you to discover your style with this 4 tips!
I do intend to make more videos on this as it's a topic of great interest to me.

These are good tips! I like #1 especially, I had never considered that. I think I would argue that #4-drawing what is easy-is good if you're already happy with your skills and don't want to improve. But for those who want to find their style, I would say that instead of drawing what is easy, instead say "Draw what you love or enjoy" is pbetter. For you, perhaps you enjoy drawing trees, that's why it's easy. I want to continue to improve drawing, so I focus on animals, because I love drawing them and because I love drawing, them I feel motivated to improve.

Yeah, right? The first one was like mind blowing when I actually realized that, although now it seems so obvious! I Regarding the #4 one, well, yeah, I think the idea of finding one's style is a persuit not for those who are just learning, but for those who already have have quite a grasp on the fundamentals. My point is that learning to draw, or to make artwork, is a lifelong journey and one will never be satisfied to the point of saying "No, I have mastered all the subjects, I can draw everything". There is always this sensation that "I need to improve, so I need to draw what is difficult in order to advance". So my advice, or the point I'm making, is that often we overlook the value of things we already know thinking them to be "easy" and we don't use them as we could because we think we need to constantly challenge ourselves, or we want to show our skills to others. For exemple: watercolor and ink is easy for me, but some time ago I wanted to paint with Oils or Acrylics because I thought that working in watercolors and ink wouldn't impress people so much, because its "easy". But thats not true, watercolors and inks are hard. So I was blocking my own style and creating an unecessary barrier bewteen my art and I because I felt what I was naturally inclined to do was not enough, it was just "too easy". But yeah, often what we feel is easy are things we are passionate about. But that's not always true. For instance, I think I draw noses pretty well and efortlessly, but I just couldn't care less about noses, heh. But yeah, this topic of style is quite complex (but also, really really simple in a way), so I'm sure I will record more videos. We can look at these concepts in different angles, and we also have to take into consideration who is the artist; and also we have to understand what we mean by style. So yeah, while I'm writing this I'm coming to the conclusion I REALLY need to record more videos on this, there is just so much to be said. Sorry for the super long reply, and thank you so much for the insightful comment and subscribing! =)
