i can say with so much confidence that lucie and her channel has very much changed my life! after struggling with anorexia since i was 12, and tumbling through treatment on and off, and struggling to maintain recovery even in my mid 20s, i have never felt this much clarity. her mindset on balanced eating and building a meaningful life outside of food has had so much impact. i found this channel almost a month ago, and i have never felt so empowered, energized, optimistic, and motivated to eat well for myself. it really goes to show that there really are people out there who can make it click for you, even in the simplest ways. lucie, from the bottom of my heart, thank you thank you thank you! i feel like i’m finally living!

Combining a daily jog morning and evening with eating smaller, more frequent meals carrying fiber and essentials three to four times a day can give your metabolism a significant boost.

Im so glad i found your channel! Ive struggled with food my whole life and i've been so confused about what healthy eating even means. I have a registered dietician and she hasnt helped me with choosing food at all. You could quite literally save peoples lives.

Thank you so much for addressing this - it's so important for people to understand. ☺ I went to the doctor after having a health condition that lasted three years, and required a lot of sitting, and he said my metabolic rate was a little low. I'd never had anything like that before, and I knew it was due to the sedentary years I had spent being ill. I told him I knew I could take care of it, and every day I increased my physical activity a bit more, as well as increasing my food intake more over time, too. Problem solved - metabolism healthy again.💗

I have been walking 10-12 miles per day and I’m finally getting an appetite. I used to do light weight exercises and didn’t consume enough food while fasting during the morning. Not a healthy lifestyle. Thank you for your videos. You and my (son who’s a nurse) remind me to eat a well balanced diet.

🙋🏼♀️hypothyroid here so my metabolism slows when my thyroid level drops. I can swear that what you say works. Small steps takes time but works.

Thank you for your video. Since 2020 I have been eating only breakfast and dinner because if I eat 3 meals a day the scale would go up every day I step on it and now I'm having thyroid issues. I started eating more this week and I noticed that my bowel movements have improved even tho I suffer with IBS with constipation ( sorry for the TMI ). I really needed to hear this and I agree with you when you said there's no magic pill for fixing your metabolism. Once again I thank you.

Great advice as usual. Many women struggle with implementing weight lifting/strength training due to fear of putting on weight. However, muscle tissue is metabolically active, more muscle=higher BMR! Also, very beneficial for maintaining bones/prevention of osteoporosis, which is important for women going through menopause later in life. Keep up the great content Lucie!

Hey, I can’t say enough how incredibly helpful this video is, it’s definitely answered some qs I always think about. Is it alright to ask; what if your metabolism has slowed due to not eating enough, would reverse dieting be a good method? Also, in terms of eating regularly and balanced meals, does each main meal need to have the same amount/ grams of carbs, protein & fats in order to be balanced? And would you suggest following the plate method to ensure a suitable portion size if you want to move away from weighing foods or if you don’t really have an idea of what a portion size is? Do you also have a video of how much protein you suggest just for maintaining a healthy body with moderate exercise like Pilates with light weight and body weight exercises? Thanks again for your amazing help, it’s much appreciated xx

I have limited mobility. I have constant pain in back and legs. Whole body exercise is just about impossible. I do exercises for core, arm & leg strength and balance, and can walk to 5-10 minutes on a treadmill. How can I get my metabolism up?
