If everyone keep raising rates like that then the final product is going to be very expensive downstream. Competitive markets are efficient for this exact reason, keeping prices in check!!!

I want to be able to clearly and plainly explain what it is I can do for clients (logos/visual identity systems/branding) so the expectations are understood, and my rates are justified and agreed to in the contract terms. And not only that, I want my clients to see the value I provide as a worthwhile investment. But for real if I had a magic genie that could grant me any wish, I'd probably get help with my anxiety

What I’m struggling with is HOW to get in front of people. 10+ years of being in business and I’ve gotten almost every large (by my standards) project I’ve pitched, but they all come to me via referral. But that means I’m also doing a lot of small work that is high-demand and low-return. :/

ISystemize ur referrals? Key i find is existing repeat clients are far more valuable than me going out looking for new….but you have to…but identify an archetype client….and get a budget range before pitching. Dont waste too much time on ppl window shopping.

Ask people what outcome they would want. Ask them what tangible benefit they would get from achieving this goal. Ask them how much would they spend to achieve this result.

@@thefutur How would you deal with a client that hears that question and spins it around on you with something like: "I'm not sure what our budget will be. How much do you charge?"
@PatrickFarman2 жыл бұрын
@@pleasejustletmebeanonymous6510 He has good videos on price anchoring. Essentially whoever says the price first loses, but you can also flip it back at them. an easy nonanswer is you need to gather more information and then you try to get them to fall back into his setup.

What is the one thing you can do such that everything else becomes unnecessary or much easier? Set a measurable and specific goal to reach it as soon as possible.

So getting their budget up front, allows you to tell them what you can provide them for that amount. Is that the point here?

when you say the price you are selling, when they say it you are closing. What if they say a low price? THen you have to counter offer

@@ilamalihilustan22 Portugal. KZbin videos are mainly target to USA market. Do this do that...yada yada.. Videos showing photographers making 80k a year. They live in another world. Ask artists in Europe if this is the real life. In USA everyone can make a biz grow, even the shitiest photographer, videographer , KZbinr... Can make decent money cause the market , economy is huge, there is space for everything everyone.
