In this video, Tim explores ideas on how to strengthen your body one step, or one leg, at a time. Life is meant to be lived on two feet, but we move one foot at a time!
Have you read Tim's new book yet? The Becoming Bulletproof Project?

Hello brother, Iam grateful for your ideas. I was looking for videos that will broaden my horizons and I found your videos. I spend my weekends in the park exploring human body , how it moves and how I can restore it's balance. Good posture leads to proper breathing which leads to happiness. Thank you very much, I am glad that there are people who explore human body and share their discoveries.

Excellent moves as always, thank you! But what to do in case of pain due to knee weakness? Could you please suggest any progression?
@OriginalStrengthSystem

This will sound odd, but pain could be a symptom of how you are breathing. So, just make sure you are belly breathing with your tongue on the roof of your mouth. Beyond that, exploring where you can move without moving into pain and playing there can often push the barriers of pain away. Getting close to the edge but never forcefully crossing over helps the brain “know” everything is safe. This can often help pain disappear. Beyond that, using bolsters and counterbalances for your body to feel safe can also push pain barriers away and set the knees at ease. I hope this helps some. I wish I could more helpful because I know it’s kind of vague.

@@OriginalStrengthSystem thank you so much for your kind reply. Recently I resorted to using TRX when squatting and lounging. This pain is not excruciating, but prevents me from getting any progress. Anyway I don't want to steal your time. Any knee strenghtening exercise would be much appreciated. Kind regards.

Let me think on it. In the meantime many of my clients and friends have had great success in restoring their knees and removing pain with this movement:Quadruped Rocking Tutorial - Original Strength show you how to rock kzbin.info/www/bejne/a5aTaZKEbaiUba8

My main problem is trying to do anything on one leg. My balance is poor. I have badly pronated ankles. Worst on left

Maybe this will not apply to you, but I have some balance issues and I did the vestibular exercises with my neck and that helped. But most importantly, I learned from Tim that I could use a support! So when I feel that my balance isn’t so good or some of my muscles aren’t as strong as they should be, I can grab onto the back of the bed or the counter. My son would’ve said that was cheating ha ha Ha, but Tim said that’s how you build strength slowly and safely. I found it very helpful just to stay in the place that is comfortable and gently try one thing each day And build on that.. You could also try some ankle exercises from a sport specialist so that you do not hurt yourself.
