Great video! As a cheer coach, I always tell the girls that cheer jumps are about 50% flexibility and 50% leg strength, which I think a lot of people don’t think about or overlook. Leg strength is a huge factor for great jumps!

I'm really flexible and stuff. Like I have over splits on both of my legs and I have my middle splits all the way down. I can sit in the middle splits comfortably but for some reason my toe touches aren't very good. I really don't get it. HELP!

work on straddles more than splits! You probably have more leg flexibility than hip flexibility, so try to do some hip stretches and really work on straddles and doing drills to rotate your hips. Also, make sure your chest is up in your jumps. Hope this helps!

Brooke Noelle imma take this advice. Although my hips were always pretty flexible I've found that its more comfortable to be and middle splits than to just pancake in straddle.

This video is really helpful especially with my toe touch because my toe touch is really low and I am definitely going to be using a lot of these drills! Every time I do the toe touch I can’t land right- So like when im on my way down from the toe touch, I land in a squat- And when I do my toe touch I CANT EVEN START-😭😭😭😭

To help, don't jump like your trying to jump in a high straddle. Jump to your ability until you jump correctly then slowly increase your legs

i mean- depending on the dance and the motions, the coach lets you land in a squat, at least mine does but I mean to improve you should just bring your legs straight down and maybe you wont land in a squat. ik that was very not helpful😌 but at least try my advice?

The last exercise you can do on your bed and I recommend using a restos ce band around your ankles👍
