I think this was well made for the most part. I enjoyed most of the tips you had. But it felt a little weird, seeing you use expensive items in your video, like louboutins and the quay sunglasses, then telling people that they could go out and buy the same things for less. I'm sure it wasn't your intention to flaunt, but it did come off a little that way, in a video that is meant for people who are on a budget. I say the following then, with every good intention, as a suggestion for next time. It would have been more solid and coherent, in my perspective, if you actually went out to find these similar more affordable products and featured them in your video, all throughout the video. Perhaps price points would be a neat idea next time too. Thanks for uploading, Karen. It's always fun to see what you come out with.

Thank you! I like Karen and enjoy her content a lot. I think you can still like someone and share your authentic thoughts and feelings with/about them. If anything, I feel like it'd be disingenuous to be positive all the time and masking true thoughts and feelings. Truth is what makes connection stronger. And I did my best to word this in a way that hopefully would not come off as hurtful, or malicious. I just thought it was important to say how I felt. :)

idk I kinda liked seeing the expensive products because they are a good reference point as to what you should be looking for when buying the similar product for less. If anything, I would suggest showing both the expensive reference item, then showing the affordable version after and saying something like; "here's the budget version I have that I bought at (blank)."

@@beckylietzow I thought she was wearing a wig. (Since she has short hair, I thought it'd show thru if they were extensions) Feel like wigs are probably better, unless you get your hair braided. It's not good to just clip it in your hair at random places cuz it could rip your hair out (at least, if you do it that way A LOT) Like SimplyNessa15, she kept doing the same and she had bald spots everywhere eventually, so she shaved it all off.

wear a lot of accessories; rings, necklace, but only gold/silver (a lot of cheap ones out there). you can make a simple shirt and jeans look so different when youre accessorised and wearing heels. leather jackets can also make simple outfits look more put together, its my fav trick i always go out w sweats and shirt wc is what i use at home and i throw on some heels and a leather jacket and it looks gr8.

Well, as I said, it’s just my humble opinion: tiny pearl or diamond earrings look expensive and classy, but huge and massive hoops not. They give the cheap looks (IMHO), though they also give an impression that a person wearing them is a very assertive and confident one, no doubt.

minimalistic necklaces/bracelets can always help, so does any pearl jewellery! straight high waisted pants are also something that makes you look very fancy, and if you do not like heels, something like oxford shoes puts every look together! makeup wise, a lil bit of eyeshadow and a very thin liner are always amazing!

i feel that the best time for me to fully bring out my inner style is during spring time , a tip I learned was to by good quality basics for your closet (doesn't have to be expensive ) so then it can last longer than cheap items and I can style more with it. I also think buying basics first then more unique styles of that specific item like I could buy a black skirt but next time I could buy a patterned skirt .

really liked all the tips, saw it more like inspiration as to what clothes would match and create the look instead of brands. another protip: make sure to iron your clothes (the ones that require it, obviously). it says A LOT.. it screams 'put together', polished and that look when you know someone makes an effort with their outfits no matter how basic or worn the items might be? that's part of the trick.

If you are not a heel-loving person you can class up an outfit by wearing oxfords instead! Other outfit combos that work are turtlenecks layered under a sleeveless dress, black trousers with a striped (or otherwise patterned) boatneck top, or in general coloured button-ups with wider slacks. Wear colours like black, red, wine, navy, dark green and white to appear more mature.

warning about the F21 jewelry: it sucks. my mom and I have bought some earrings before from them and my ears were on fire after, hers as well. save up some money and buy real jewelry instead!
