I have printed out this pattern and I am going to make two quilts, One for my Brother and his wife as I still owe them a wedding gift of a quilt and my Son as he gets married Sat the 20th of Feb. so I want to make them one also. they will get theirs for their 1st year anniversary. I just finished this wall hanging, bought the kit. Now, any ideas on the quilting part?…if I were to do a stipple, would that take away from the block work/logs?…I really don’t want to do stitch in the ditch, at least not every seam!…just looking for some thought/ideas 🤷‍♀️

Hello Donna! You can stitch in the ditch (doesn't need to be every seam) or a stipple would look nice using a light beige thread that will blend nicely with all the colors. - Yajaira

I’m new to quilting. Absolutely love your tutorials. I’ve made a few log cabin quilt squares using 2 1/2” strips. Am I understanding this correctly in that the strips are cut wider and longer than needed to trim after each round?

I can’t find the download that tells me the length of fabric to cut for each round. The ruler came with the directions on how to make the courthouse block, and your kit came with a list of everything in the kit, but nowhere can I find the instructions telling me how long to cut the pieces.
