I just made this bullet proof coffee using: 1 cup hot coffee (250ml) 12.5 gm grass-fed butter (=1 tbs) 2 tsp MCT Oil 1/4 cinnamon powder a pinch of Himalayan pink rock salt a pinch of stevia powder I enjoyed every drop of it. And just before I drank it I gave intent (speak out loud) so I condition my body to work with this bullet proof coffee to provide me what I need for the day: " I am physically energised. I have mental clarity. I have reduced appetite. I have more oxygen. I increase my capacity to fast longer. I have tremendous transitional help. Thank you. I love you. X 3 " I love using my consciousness while caring for myself in healthy ways. I use the old-fashion way of making coffee i.e. use a strainer, and I melted the slice of butter over a cup of very hot water. I use my regular blender to mix everything together. I don't want to spend extra money on utensils when I can make do with what I already have in the kitchen. Thank you so much for this recipe. I was looking for one that caters to my needs and have in my kitchen. Next round I'll add powdered cocoa over the top just for that chocolaty flavour. Yum! 😋🙏

Anyone can make their own drink. Use what you like you have many options. Example: Bustelo Coffee, two spoons grass fed butter, coconut oil, pink salt as much as you like and sugar. Mix and enjoy. Coffee has to be hot so oils mix properly. And when you blend the mix, it tastes better. Drink up. I had my first this morning and was full didn't crave eating breakfast. Allow me to propose an alternative... Drink a cup of black coffee, organic if possible Eat 2 strips of fatty bacon pan fried with extra Virgin cold pressed coconut oil The bacon has good fats, salt and just the right amount of meat to keep you full for breakfast. The coconut oil is healthy and you can even add some pepper or cayenne for added benefits. Biggest benefit of this is you don't have a hard time washing out your blender every morning
@Miss_Maggie5 жыл бұрын
I absolutely LOVE this recipe for Bulletproof Coffee...... but you are SOOOOO RIGHT - especially the part about washing out the yucky nightmare that’s left behind in the blender!! The flavour of the bulletproof coffee will still force me to do it - some days... but definitely not as often as I’d like to. MCT Oil makes me drowsy! So disappointing! 😕
@mariakorolev38115 жыл бұрын
Sounds good, the only problem is you really aren't meant to be pan frying anything in extra virgin oils. It's really just for dressings, drizzles, etc. There's a reason it's cold pressed. Cooking with it destroys every benefit you get it for. If you are going to pan fry things, use ghee.
@Miss_Maggie5 жыл бұрын
Maria Korolev I just made a beautiful jar of ghee this morning! Yeah… I know it’s off-topic… But you mentioned it. 😬
@mariakorolev38115 жыл бұрын
@@panasonic7023 I mean sure, nothing horrible will happen if you keep it below smoking point. But the point of getting "COLD PRESSED" for the benefits of flavor, antioxidants, etc is destroyed. For coconut oil once it exceeds 120 degrees Fahrenheit and even lower 80F for olive oil. So yes, you can use it, but you're better off, and cheaper off using ghee or clarified butter

You forgot to say how much! How much oil and butter?
@JoshCartman6 жыл бұрын
I just tried this for the first time and I honestly really didn't like the taste. I went with original flavored ghee and MCT oil, no added flavoring. Amazon offers flavored ghee, but it's slightly more expensive and I went the cheap route. Next time, I'll try adding cinnamon.

Or you can add cocoa to give it a chocolate flavor and boost of antioxidants.

May want to add 1/8 tsp liquid Stevia ... and 1/4 tsp cocoa... or more (maybe cut back a bit on the ghee) Just a little heavy whipping cream? It's an acquired taste. I crave it now

How many calories do you reckon in that cup?
@tannerjacobson6995 жыл бұрын
it's about 600 to 900 but it is not bad for you it's better than using sweetened coffee creamer and sugar
@firozosman5 жыл бұрын
@@tannerjacobson699 thanks! It's because I'm following an 18/6 IF protocol and my first meal is at 14:00hrs. I don't really want to break my fast early and I need my morning coffee.

Yes!

Does it have to be blended? I’m up at 4:30. Too early for all that noise
@TheCookieRookieRecipes5 жыл бұрын
You can try aggressively mixing or shaking, but I always recommend blending!

When is this coffee taken if I do intermittent fasting?
@enclavedeclaudia4 жыл бұрын
Careful! The bulletproof coffee isn't met to be taken freely during the day, it's supposed to substitute a meal, that is if you don't want to put on weight. Tasty recipe, though. Thank you for sharing it.
@TheCookieRookieRecipes4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the tip!
@Blakostructr2 жыл бұрын
This can't be more than 200 calories in a cup, how would that substitute a meal? How few calories are you eating per day where that would be an appropriate meal size? You shouldn't be eating less than 1200 calories in a day even when trying to lose weight.
@enclavedeclaudia2 жыл бұрын
@@Blakostructr You are right on that respect, it substitutes a meal at the beginning of a keto diet, when you're already on ketosis is another business, and it doesn't have all the nutrients that you need. It's good for breaking your fasting (ID) and to pair a bulletproof coffee with food could cause you to put on weight if you're not a nutritionist and know exactly what to eat for your body type and health. That's why I drink it long before I have my meal(s)
