Thanks for the tip about the microwave. I am in Upstate New York and I always struggled to get stuff to raise or butter to get to room temp

Hey... so this was an old video and I no longer recommend it due to radiation. I recommend putting a bowl of boiling water in your oven before so that when you place dough to rise it will do the same job as the microwave. So please do this and not use the microwave again. thank you.😍

I can put my head on a block for this comment....Every time I use your recipes, they always come out perfect....EVERYTIME. My 11year old son is also into cooking and loves to follow your instructions to the last detail. This phulorie is truly on point and my entire family is impressed with this recipe. Yes, and that microwave tip is awesome. Thank you.

Awww thank you... tell your son a big thank you... I also dont use the microwave wave anymore I now use my oven and put a bowl of hot water in the oven and it works better.... the microwave isn't safe.... I am so happy you enjoyed it.... thank you!

Was searching all over for a recipe to make these without the split pea powder and someone recommended I check your channel. I made a batch for my mom, my daughter and my hubby on Friday and on Sunday for mothers day I tried it again, it was a hit. Thank you for all that you do Natasha. ❤️💐

I know this is a old video but it was recommended and as I watched yo make the dough and the hand technique of dropping the dough is how I see some African cooks make this they call it puff puff it can be sweet with added ripen plantains with cinnamon and Nutmeg added to the batter or rolled in cinnamon and sugar.

Great recipe! My kids are obsessed with phlourie, but they are not too fond of the dhal ones either....they loved this recipe! Don't have to visit the roti shop so often now just for phlourie! Thx so much!

Yes I used ur accra recipe recently and it was wonderful. I like fiddling with different recipes and ingredients. I called this one accralorie. My husband called me crazy but he loved it. I use quite a few of ur recipes. Keep up the good job.

Love you girl, I've made pholourie in the past , both pre mixed package and on my own... All 3 times came out terrible, wasent cooked inside and very hard from me trying to cook them thoroughly ... I'm going to try one more time using your recipie . Wish me luck :)

Don't Ever run a microwave Empty! Instead, place a small cup of water in there for the 60 seconds and leave it in there during the proof.

You can make a warm environment in your oven. Low temp for 2mins and leave it. Oven holds temp better than microwave.

Butterfly Girl yes you can. Grate them really fine so there are no chunks. I usually add garlic only and it is yummy. Add it to saheena too. I don’t follow recipes just the usual “averaging” as a true Trini cook😀.
