Meanwhile, you two are hilarious first thing in the morning: "that's a bread knife!" .... "I don't think the pear knows the difference." As a child my mother had to eat oatmeal porridge every morning. She hatet it and swore that her children never had to eat it and..we never did. At school (very modern) we had cooking lessons once a week. Just learning to cook basic stuff and one of the basic stuff we had to learn was making oatmeal porridge. I loved it and my mother was in shock!
