• Sugar: 2 tsp. (10 grams)
• Fresh yeast: 1 teaspoon (4 grams) or ½ tsp. (2 grams) dry yeast
• Bread flour: 2 cups (240 grams)
• Salt: ½ tsp (3 grams)
• Semolina or flour for dusting

I used 2 cups of flour and my dough was so dry it wasn't workable. I don't understand.

I use this recipe every time I make English muffins and it always comes out perfect. You could try adding a little more water, some flours absorb more moisture and need just a little more to get the right consistency. Try adding 1-2 tablespoons of water and you'll see the difference.

@Food-Language Thank you! I kept wetting my hands and needing until it was just a little sticky and would stick to itself. It was really hard to knead and wouldn't stick to itself at first, but they turned out good. Thank you! I used king Arthur's bread flour and spooned/leveled it.

Im not an experienced or natural baker so i need metric measurements or itll come out awful 😫 cakes and bread come out perfect when I weight. Maybe try weighing the flour next time and see if that helps ☺️🤞🏼
