The side as in , in front of you? I think of it as back 3 and lean a little backwards

Slick looking catch! Learned how to do these out of 50-50s before flatground. You basically have more leverage and control to pivot your front truck against the ledge, and swing away with your hips.

So I learned how to switch fs heel flip and now I can’t switch heel anymore, I know it’s as simple as keeping my shoulders straight but even when I force my shoulders I still turn 90 degrees
@MystifierMan4 жыл бұрын
Might help to hold onto a waist high bar, or bench, and re-learn the trick by concentrating on just the movement of your feet without any weight. Could also film yourself to see if it's your front foot getting stuck, hips, or actual shoulders turning.

@SKATEHACKS4 жыл бұрын
Thunder 147 lows, team or signature model doesn’t really make a difference, it’s just usually color and marketing

@@SKATEHACKS The team baseplate is actually 1mm taller, not sure if it makes a noticeable difference. Im just new to skating and I worry about spending money on a truck I wont like.

Imagine riding regular and you do a back 180. Now think about which way your shoulders turn when you do this back 180. Now in whatever stance you are (nollie, reg, fakie) backside will always be this same shoulder rotation. Hope that clears it up
@johnnyraven81784 жыл бұрын
Imagine some in skating towards a camera and does a 180 trick. If their chest faces the camera than the trick is frontside if their back does then it’s backside. The only time this isn’t true is fakie, since you’re riding backwards technically so your back is your front and vice versa
@yairfarias74894 жыл бұрын
It depends on where you live. Americans switch bs and fs when it comes to nollie tricks, some other parts of the world don't give a fuck about so it's frontside.
