Stuck on the one leg front lever? Here's how to progress to the straddle front lever!
I'm about to tell you something that hardly any other calisthenics influencers will tell you.
The front lever is hard. And it takes a long time to achieve.
But if you know how to train it effectively, then you can learn it quicker and safer. And that's what this front lever tutorial is all about.
In this tutorial, I show you how to progress from the one leg tucked front lever to the straddle front lever. This is a notoriously difficult transition for many calisthenics athletes, so I wanted to make this video to give you all the awesome tips and front lever progressions you need to succeed with your front lever training.
For those who read my descriptions, here is a bonus tip. Many people ask me "How often should I train the front lever?" I personally get the best results when I train it 2-3 times a week. It's an intense calisthenics skill that is very alien to the body. Therefore, it's important to train it regularly so that your body (1) gets used to holding it and (2) remembers how to hold it. Ever heard the expression "if you don't use it, you'll lose it"? Well, it's especially true for the front lever. Consistency is key.
This front lever tutorial also contains a bunch of front lever exercises that you can add into your front lever workouts. If you want to learn more front lever progressions, then check out my full front lever guide (link below). It's suitable for calisthenics beginners as well as intermediate athletes, as it covers all the major front lever progressions from the tuck front lever to the full front lever.
