How to Reach Your Daily Protein Goals (and what it looks like)

Do you get enough protein? Do you get too much? Let’s figure it out! Once you have your goal, how can you get enough and what can your diet look like? No one can live on egg whites and chicken breast alone!
Surprisingly, even some fruits contain protein and also provide you with other vitamins, minerals and fiber to boost your nutrition intake!
In this video I’ll tell you about recommended protein amounts depending on your age, weight and activity level. What to look for if you’re over or under your ideal and then we’ll head to the kitchen and I’ll portion out a wide variety of foods and breakdown their protein values for you. You can mix and match for your own specific needs. I hope you enjoy!

Thank you for explaining the range of 0.8-1.5g protein per kg body weight. It depends on your goals, age and activity level. It's so much more realistic for your average person.

Hi! Thank you Nancy for sharing all those informations ❤ Parmesan cheese is also a great source of protein 38gr for 100gr of cheese. As the amount of fat is high, you have to eat it with modération 😉 BTW, nice kitchen renovation !

I know it's about protein but no nixing fat. It is our friend. Our nervous system can't function without it. Our brains function optimally on ketones :) Soy and seeds have omega 6.. eat sparingly

Lets just take the Brian Shaw approach of 6-8lb's of protein a day haha (don't forget the Bison lol), would like to make mention of "complete protein" and to stick with animal proteins vs non-animal proteins due to them aminos, non-animal food only has a 50% absorbtion rate.... broscience 😎(red meats & whole eggs are best)

SGO 🤣 amen to that! I am someone who needs extra protein because if I have the recommend amount, my protein levels in my blood show as being too low. And then that causes fluid retention. I develop Kwashiorkor years ago thanks to my anorexia, and ever since I've personally required more. I really appreciate all the work you put into your videos. This is so informative and helpful. You are amazing ❤️🙏🫂💕
