Just bought my first house today and the toilet was overflowing and the overflow was going into the yard. Now the yard is constantly damp. Now, I’ve adjusted a cistern before but I came to this one and it was sealed! My system is a little different to the one you show but I was able to get the job done and now the yard can dry out. Not so a Filipino dual flush model: Just lift the tank top off, and place upside down on a spread- out hand towel to protect the buttons from scratches, and do what you have to do inside the tank!

Thank you for this video, I did not have a clue how to get the lid off before I saw your video. The little button had less of a ledge to lever it up then I expected and it helped to stick the little button back in first to make sure the 3 holes were all lined up when putting it back together and hold the ring down and remove the small button and screw down the central plastic screw. I was peering in before that with a flashlight and poor eyesight thinking I will never get this lined up. The float was stuck on the bar it slides up and down on, I prodded it and it got unstuck and slid down to where it's supposed to go when the cistern is empty and then the cistern started to refill. I hope I don't have to go back there again. Thank you again.
