@MochaEats - You can put them on top of anything or eat them as is. You can even "blend" them into a "mush" like texture and add them to any salad, sandwich, burger, etc., add a little mayo, relish or anything you choose to mix with the sprouts and spread on bread, or whatever! Mix with eggs if you eat eggs (don't cook them or cook very 'lightly') this, however will reduce the "nutritional" value of the sprouts. The sprouting of any seed, increases the "nutritional" value up to 200-300%.

important thing is to remove the water from the bottom tray and let the colander sit in the ""*DRY*"" tray till the next day. then wash soak for just a few mins (2-5 mins only). then remove the water from that bottom tray. let the colander sit in the dry tray.... not shown in the video. just mentioned orally. many new people might miss this most important point!

THANK YOU. I read a couple of lentil sprouting guides, watched another video, and they have "sprouting jars" and other things that cost $5-10. I just wanted to sprout lentils with what I own to see if they're easier to digest (less gas inducing). I used my regular colander and by the second day the lentils had cracked. I waited another day and the sprouts were about 1/4-inch long. It was so easy!

Yes - SO good!! Sauté with garlic, s & p, a bit of soy sauce; and maybe a bit of cooked potato cubes. I like to use them when little green leaves have developed. I also use clear plastic/a glass container, to expose them to sunlight, for the development of chlorophyll, etc. As the lentils are sprouting, when they’re submerged, I also like to skim- off as many as the shedded seed skins as practically possible. They’re good!!

Great video explaining the process 👍However it’s very important to use organic seeds, lentils are sprayed with chemicals right till the end before harvesting…. My husband was a farmer and it was shocking to me how much chemicals he used and we were not aware, of how bad it it is to consume 😞

How serendipitous!!! Incidentally, I was looking for a how to sprout lentils video. Found yours, watched it and thought, I better subscribe. Turns out, your Channel Name is Khang Starr. Now, in October '21, I rescued a little kitten and called her Kang Kang, you know, because I was walking down the street when, KANG! KANG! There she was. Decided to Google Kang Kang, was a bit taken aback by the meaning and thought it better to call her Kangster, because by this time, she was already used to the Kang sound. Like I said, SERENDIPITY! That or Google's algorithm's heard me say Kangster so much that it went directly to you. Either way. Great video. Simple. Thank you. I hope you read this 😃

I want first of all to congratulate you for your exciting explanation and the effectiveness of the process you follow to have the result you want. My son has turned mad with lentils and the plants to harvest seeds from plants created by seeds. The question I want to ask is: Is it possible to create plants from lentils that can provide seeds and can be harvested? If possible, I would like to ask for your email address so that I can express some other doubts for seeds, especially lentils. Thank you very much!

I work in the ag-tech industry and every farmer I know says that they wouldn't eat lentils because of the amount of chemicals they put on them. They are grown to add nitrogen to the soil and also they use grass killing chemicals to kill all the grassy weeds(glyphosate). Since lentils are not a grass they aren't affected. It then boosts their wheat/barley/oat crops from the added nitrogen with less weeds (ryegrass, etc.).
