Hey Pete. How many musky do you think you catch each year nowadays?

Gone down in recent years due to less time on the water; last year worst in ages with the extra pressure due to Canada being closed. I would say average 50 or more in recent years; probably only around 30 last year. Obviously more in boat but approximate

I have always tied a uni knot when attaching my braid to leader swivel. Do you feel this power knot is stronger?

To be honest, I think all knots are pretty solid when tied right, and checking line and retying when necessary the biggest deal, but recall seeing testing on a bunch of knots and this one did best - been quite some time ago. It's easy and clean to do

Honestly don't know who deserves credit for the knot. If it's Joe, that's great; like Joe, big fan of Joe's and Tom Gelb - so no ill intent to anyone; just showing what used for years on a modified double clinch

@@petemaina7073 That knot looks good, but I'd like to see that tested against my Fish-N-Fool Knot that won the "Knot Wars" show back in 2009. I created this knot back in the 80's, so I've been using it for almost 40 years. It was the strongest braid and mono knot that the Knot Wars TV show ever tested at 19.44 lbs. with 14 lb. Fireline braid. Beating their Burkley braid knot by over 2 lbs. There are a million people that show how to tie my knot on U-tube, but they all do it wrong. lol Nobody holds it properly and with braid it should be 7 to 10 wraps not 5. I only use 5 for heavier mono and most of the time I do 7 with lighter mono, fluoro, and braids.
