I think the mindset is the crucial part. I think the " I have anxiety, but I accept myself" might be something completely new and almost like a revelation to especially people with social anxiety. The tapping part is about having your body actually do something to let you focus on something outside of yourself.

Nope. The meridian points tapping alone without the juxtaposition initial statement would achieve 70 - 75% healing. With the statement it adds a bit more to it and allow us to have our focus on the problem.

I watch this video, and as I do, so many thoughts arise in me... mainly: I have severe C-PTSD, I am an INFJ, and I have a very fucked up relationship with my parents... it's part of the reason for the fucked-upness that is my life. I am so ashamed at the current state of my life. I have no clue how to escape the horrors of it. my life is fucked up beyond imagination. what to do? 999-trillion layers of guilt and shame and rage and regret and grief, surface in me and consume me. eating my soul alive...

I didn't know what to expect but kept an open mind. Going through the mantra and taking my time on each meridian point I began to feel kind of odd... Almost overwhelmingly so. But I fought through that feeling and a very noticeable calming effect came over me. But strangely I am also having muscle twitches in my legs. Our bodies and mind are capable of so much more than we give ourselves credit for. I am going to have fun learning this self mastery. Thank you for sharing. ☯️💓🎶

EFT tapping is the best treatment for anxiety. As a former medical professional (now retired) I saw too many people resort to drugs, when such a logical and scientific method like EFT works just so easily and is cost-free. Be well, be healthy, choose your partners carefully.

Now after just 3 minutes of tapping i went down from a 7 to a 1-2 (on a scale from 1-10). I study physical therapy and im sure im going to use this to help my clients! Thank you so much.

All roads lead back to my mom... when I did tapping my affirmation dealt with her... wowwwzerrr... Humans who see this always try to speak kindly to yourself and others, don’t listen to the negatives said about you, get to know yourself through and through. Sometimes depending on the homes we all grow up in we may forget we can lead a different life. If anyone seeing this grew up with toxicity I’m sorry you had to go through whatever you may have gone through. Truly❤️ We don’t always have to continue the not so good behaviors taught and we do always have a say in the paths we take. If any of you have hiccups along the way please go easy on yourselves. I’m trying to cause I do know as humans we make mistakes. It’s what you do after that counts the most😊 Happy rainy Saturday to all😊🌧 Stay AWeSOMe😉 Like me!!! Lolll no no j/k Do a little something nice for yourselves though!✌🏼

Having a hard time with the “I accept” portion. I always resist my feelings and try to minimize what’s going on in order to talk myself down. Hence why I have a short fuse these days. I’ll keep trying.
@youtubeaddict5663
@youtubeaddict5663 3 жыл бұрын
Maybe incorporate that into your affirmation? Acknowledge the fact that you always resist your feelings but counteract that with something positive. The other day, I tried a different technique where I wrote down all of my weaknesses and my strengths. I then read back my weaknesses and said that I accept myself for who I am and that I’m enough and then I tore up the paper and did a mantra saying “I am more then just a label”. Maybe you could do something similar where you write down all your weaknesses and positives, then use the positives to help you with your affirmations to affirm yourself into thinking and feeling more positively. I hope this helps you in some small way ❤️

@Hairy Chinese Kid Exactly my question. People dismiss placebo success, but if something actually works, regardless of if it's placebo, you still got results. In fact, it's all the more amazing if you MIND is what obtained the success without any outside agent. I find it curious that something so amazing would be met with derision. And if it /doesn't/ work for someone 'wary of placebo tricks' but it does work for others, it still is interesting and potentially an example of nocebo effect.

You could excuse yourself to the bathroom or get up to get some water and quietly do it behind a door or wall, but if this helps and you dont mind a few glances then do it wherever! People do things all the time, stimming is a common form of movement or people with anxiety who tremble, or those with tourette's who have motor tics, moving in 'unusual' ways in public isnt uncommon so do what is necessary!

This is fully irrational. It shows how much human being goes astray, lost and not knowing what he is doing sometimes. This practice to relief anxiety can just reflect how empty and superficial we, as human, can be. I feel sad that many of us don't know where the truth of our existence lies and where to find authentic peace and relief. Keep searching for growth. I sincerely wish you the best of luck and guidance.
