Mark you're an awesome guy. It's refreshing to see someone so compassionate about what they do. I'm a huge fan of bigger stronger faster and have mad props for your bro Chris. All the best.

Top tips! I do a little thing with a resistance band where I "row" an air bar into my chest, it's great for waking the lats up prior to benching.

so the lat is only active when the bar is at the very bottom right? and how exactly does the lat take stress of the glenohumeral joint (i assume it's about this one) ?

So you basically PULL in, right before pushing out for a regular rep (thereby activating the the lats at the beginning and end of the variation of the standard exercise)? Normally I do a a compound movement, of half dead lift + and arm curl, and REALLY gets the lats/back). But thats just me. I like to create stuff like this. Probably adds extra back work load though (mind not yours) Is it a must to use a something like a pillow, to dampen the weight on the chest? The guy at 5;27, does it perfectly without.

I find bringing the bar down I use my lats a lot but I do not feel like they engage on the press command? I think it may be a lot harder to feel under heavy load especially when you are driving your head into the bench?

I would argue that Macaela is not just taller and faster, but also most likely stronger. Even though I think Spence is good guy and all, he just not coming in tan enough.

hi. what is "better": touch and go deadlift or reset every rep? power clean instead of speed deadlift? or too different? THANKS!
@billybrothers2492
@billybrothers2492 10 жыл бұрын
Reset every rep, only good tool touch n go is for time under tension and when developing strength it's not all about that more about performance. And I would defiantly say speed Deadlifts to increase the deadlift than power clean!

I'm on new medication now, so you probably won't see my crazy comments anymore. I feel sane today, which I haven't felt honestly since 4th grade, and I'm a sophomore right now...
