looks like you never lost traction in the rear wonder how a 2wd with lockers would fair vs a 4x4 with no lockers hummm lol love the video

I did have some slipping, especially when I was at full cross axle. It would be very cool to see how a locked 2wd would do in this type of obstacle

I have a 2000 Rodeo, in the shop at the moment. I was told today the 4x4 computer relay went out. Any suggestions? It looks like you have manual locks on the front? Thank you! 💚🎸

I'm in the process of building a 96 cherokee. I have been wanting to try the miller jeep trail. I was looking to go with a group thats experienced.

That's a great rig to do it with! Very capable and plenty of aftermarket. Best of luck, enjoy!

Do you ever go in groups if so let me know i would like to go with someone thats experienced thanks....

@@vinnyg3788 That was my first time on that trail. I would love to go back. Normally, I go in small groups, two to five max. I wouldn't say I'm "experienced" but I would say I have experienced that tail. lol if that makes sense... Maybe one day i'll lead a crew, but I don't have plans to at this time

Do you have any plans to upgrade to a locker? I dont know about the front but those d44 30 splines have a huge aftermarket.

I can't use the 2-ft technique because I drive a 5-speed manual 93 Rodeo

Using that hand brake is the way to go then 🤘

Great !! 😁 I think rodeo lsd are not as good as toyota's. I read that's only 30% of the power on the wheel on the ground and 70% for toyota's lsd. 😐 I've got an oem locker on my nissan patrol y60, it's awesome.
@GridLineGo3 жыл бұрын
I've heard the same. This LSD sits in a Dana 44 axle, which is also in the Jeeps. You would think they would be better right? lol. This diff has seen a lot too so I would not be surprised if the LSD clutches are just worn out. After all, this rig does have 220k on the clock...an ARB air locker is currently in the works for this rear diff 👍 Please consider subscribing if you haven't already. Thanks for watching!

@@GridLineGo at least we have lsd, not all rodeos came with it. 😐 Arb air locker is a good choice but expensive, it's my daily and I've got another rig to do some crazy stuff offroading. I will just put some 31 10.5 15 tires and a 2in lift 👌 I folllow you on IG, love your content 😊.

Hey man, love your content! Love the passport! I’m attempting to get my 99 passport trail ready, so I’m wondering if you knew of any coil spring spacers that fit? I got 275 but I rub a lot, so articulation is an issue, I’m just trying to get a couple of inches above the tire, any feedback would be amazing! Aftermarket parts are a bitch to find

Hey! Thank you so much! I really appreciate it! Old Man Emu (ARB) does make springs that fit. I got them on Indepent4x web site. These are the 912 spring with a 1" spacer. Check out my other video where I do a full walk around. A few things have changed since then, but the suspension has not changed since. Best of luck with your build, I'm really excited for you 👍 Please consider subscribing if you haven't already. Thanks for watching!
