Have clocked my I5N to 3,39 0-100 km/h with 2 people in the car at +20°C outside temp. With heated battery in drag mode with launch control (Björn is not in drag mode with launch control in the video), in drag mode it will pretorque the motors when holding the brake for better performance.

You must remember that Bjørn Nyland testet this car with very soft Nordic winter tyres.
@bjornnyland16 күн бұрын
Car took forever and never reached drag mode. And based on the tires, it would probably be pointless anyway.

pretorque electric motors? 😂wtf
@TheViolatorSWE15 күн бұрын
@@hardywoodaway9912 yes it will put load on the electric motors thats held back with the brakes. So with that it takes away a .1 or .2 of the 0-100 km/h time.
@TheViolatorSWE15 күн бұрын
@@bjornnyland you should have done it right after a charging session. Charging is the fastest way to get heat in the battery.

You should repeat this test by using the N mode to get a better result.
@bjornnyland15 күн бұрын
Get summer tires first. Otherwise N mode is pointless.
@Hzakkis9 күн бұрын
N-mode seems to allow more longnitudal slip on the tires which can help even with winter tires. But hard to say without testing.

Solid test! Thanks

Nice Can you find a Fisker Ocean with 20 inc wheels and do another test? Yes the winter consumption is high but you will find a much better car with the updates.

why is the ioniq 5 this heavy? It weighs more than a Model S plaid.

Because of higher quality than Tesla. Obviously

It has a much larger cabin, brakes and cooling and is just as fast or faster on track (2+ laps) at a significantly lower price. You said?

This is what the Ioniq5N is all about. Not how economical or how many banana boxes you can fit in the boot. And to be honest this will be the first electric car that will help convert the stone cold petrol heads to seeing how good EV’s can be in the future. So as Hyundai say it will change how people feel and think about the future of EV’s. Not the standard or emotionless EV’s that currently exist. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rXK6o4x_r5dkl6c

He does all the testing same for all cars, because some cars don’t have launch, he don’t use it even if they have it. And I think this is the best way to test the car, in everyday mode..nobody put LC on every red light 🤦🏻🤷🏻🐌💆🏻
