My favorite moment as a horse owner was watching my horse hunker down as he was running with mane and tail blowing in the wind. It looked like a cross between floating and flying barely touching the ground with his hooves. No matter what I was doing, when I heard those hooves sticking the ground I would just stop and stare at the peaceful beauty and grace of horse running to just to run with the biggest smile on my face. Wish I had a bigger pasture for him to run wide open in. Thank you for sharing this with us. 🙏💛✨

An amazing sight to behold! Watching happy, content, loved and beloved horses enjoying a cool splash-about on a humid morning is indeed something special. Hearing Mama Jami's reaction and joyful giggles was a delightful way to start my day. It was so touching I was sitting here wearing a goofy smile with tears in my eyes. After the exhausting week moving babies to higher ground at LHLs and helping with Morrow Hill cleanup duties THIS was exactly what Jami needed! Hi Jami, I love that! They are so happy there, cooling off in the pond! I hope you put a tennis ball on that t-post in the pond, so they don't scratch or cut themselves on it. Many many horse owners protect their frisky friends that way. Oh, they really love 💕 cooling down that way. It shows how much you care for them, that you brought them there as soon as you could. As a kid I was at my family's friend's stables regularly.My favorite place. Surrounded by dogs, horses, sheep, goats, donkeys. Loved going to the field with the horses, enjoyed watching them in the pond. Loved grooming & walking to cool them after a ride. All God's creatures are amazing. They were & still are my place of peace❤️

Horse Behavior: All the splashing you see Rita doing is about checking the ground before she lies down and rolls in here the pond they also do this on land. Beautiful to see them so happy. They do this to coat themselves in mud to cool themselves or coat themselves in mud or dirt to keep the flies off them. Rita has A lot of energy.. Trigger is a stunning horse..what a color and coat on him.

Many years ago when i was very young i used to take my pony no saddle just a bridle into the sea it was pretty difficult to stay on as the deeper we went her back got slippery! However my leg muscles were like iron then, a wonderful feeling of freedom I loved it
