Every time their friends say he's a good guy for returning the money OP should ask them this, 'if someone mugged you and then went on to give some of the money they stole from you to a charity, would you say they're a good person because they did a normally good thing after doing a bad thing?'

Story 1 you cannot financially support a man. It seems to always end badly.

So he went from being in debt to OP to being in debt to his new gf, his mom, and hopefully a loan shark 😊 Also I disagree with her ex not being a narcissist. It's not always true but a lot of narcissists are seen as the "good guys" cause they're great actors.

There is small claims court up to $5000 and then there is a way to sue for larger amounts. She can put a lean on his house

I hope that op learned a valuable lesson regarding using her head instead of listening to her heart. Learn your worth and love yourself.

It is a complete mystery to me how people who cheat and more on with their ap don't see that neither of them are making good moral decisions. It follows that someone who will cheat with you has no qualms cheating on you. Good riddance to the would be "nice guy" I sincerely hope op sees that this was a blessing and props to the MVP her friend who had her back before she was unceremoniously dumped for no reason and without explanation, perhaps without her money.

He didn't even have the decency to admit it fully when caught, snapping that it was "one time" when it was multiple occasions, as if the OP was doing *him* an injustice. If the OP needs a bit of consolation, his new woman can never trust him, and deep down she knows she cannot, being well aware of how he can behave. It'll breed suspicion on her side and resentment on his. Not the ingredients for a happy relationship.

good guy, yeaaah sure.. I had a friend that I let stay with me for a short while. She moved out as if she was fleeing when all I did was confront her about her paying super little towards rent and nothing else and barely doing any chores. Made me take a hard, good look at myself with the help of a therapist and the conclusion was that I am not an abuser, she is probably not a narcissist but is at the very least a Victim and to young to see what she has done. I gave her multiple chances to open communications with me back up and have yet to hear anything, but once I got the utility bill for the time she spend in my apartment and have billed her for her portion, I will block her. Sometimes, the fault lies with a "normal" person even when the situation makes us feel like the bad person. Sometimes it really is just their stupidity and thoughtlessness.

No uk law u can sue in small claims unlimited amount I've been through it. Problem is the cost of taking someone to court goes up the more ur asking for.

He is a criminal cheater. Maybe he has the potential to be a good guy, but as it stands, he is NOT a good guy.

Is it just me or i thought this was going to be a halloween special and she was gonna kill him lol. With how it's written it reminds me of those stories that sounds like it's an AITA post then gets super dark. Mark should really do that for halloween tbh

I’m disappointed that the woman in the last story didn’t sic the CRA on the business and her bf. CRA isn’t as bad as the IRS, but they are tenacious.
