It is quite a strange thing because growing up I found that the type of black men the women are attracted too and want are the ones who have a more toxic demenour. The guys who are more gentlemen like or act "white" so to speak are largely seen as squares and end up with non black women not by choice either. This mentality I have noticed is in stark contrast to the mentality of older generation African Americans. Old black southerners are some of the best people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, truly God fearing people that live and breathe morality and righteousness. It is not wonder that they produced such great people as the civil rights leaders, many countless musicians, intellectuals, etc. But over the past several decades, there has been a growing culture of carelessness that I believe is driven by a victim mentality narrative often pushed by the media and the political left. Rather than portray people like Ben Carson or Thomas Sowell, they will showcase rappers covered in tattoos and obsessed with the superficial. Rather than push encouragement, they push a sense of being oppressed, and that sense produces a kind of hopeless, nihilistic, carelessness where one thinks "I am oppressed so I can't change my circumstances." The obsession with the superficial and the victim mindset is why I believe hookup culture became so prevalent in the black community and why cheating became more commonplace. Of course not each and every single black guy is like that, but it is a common trend. And it is for these reasons that so many black women seek men of other races or black men from other countries. It's kind of like how feminism affected white women. It produced an anti traditionalism amongst them that made them view anything traditional as oppressive. Modern feminisms hostility towards men and push to make men and women the same, is in large part why so many white men pursue women from other cultures. Some of those women are black American. They essentially find in each other what they were missing in their respective communities. This is why white man black woman marriages have a lower divorce rate than white man white woman, black man black woman, and black man white woman marriages. Like pieces of a puzzle that fit together.

26 year old black male dentist here. Many of my black male colleagues are dentists, physicians, pharmacists, engineers. I don’t date black women because they they I only like white women, and think I wasn’t raised around black people. This is literally the first thing black women say to me. I did attend PWIs my whole life and played D1 football at a top 25 university. My gf is white and I love life.

@neutraliserjanine I preferred to date black women when I was younger, but everytime I tried, they stated I look like I wasn't raised around black people and that i look like I only date white women. And this was when I first met them. I speak properly and have a respectful career. Since this happened multiple times, I simply gave up on black women.🤷🏿‍♂️

This is in statistics.
