I love social anxiety :3 It stops me from making friends and slowly isolates me from the world against my will, and fighting against it becomes harder with time as you shift your comfort zone. It's a really great 10/10 experience

1:05 from what I’ve gathered from my therapists and doctors anxiety can be overcome but not removed completely. If you have an anxiety disorder your brain grows to recognize patterns and that is almost impossible to remove completely but can be helped. Proud of your progress though!

it's a smart move to explain how your own social anxiety acts. we all think different after all. i hope your social anxiety lessens. :-) my social anxiety suddenly popped up when i reached adulthood and since then I have problems taking public service (includes talking to staff). I also received a quieter voice. my apologies fall on deaf ears most of the times. but hey, whenever i spy something noticeable and might have to warn/inform a stranger, although it takes couple of tries, it works... with stutter.

funny enough, i used to have such insane social issues that i would never go out and i couldn't even message anyone. it took creating things with other people (and, like the stardew valley thing, concerts!) for me to finally embrace out of my shell. now, more than not, i end up being the most social person in the room. although, i do still struggle from time to time, i like to use a buddy system pretty much always in public haha. i'm glad ur working on ur social anxiety and that ur trip was eventful!

We were in the uk last year with a motor home and I have never driven on the left side of the road before that and understandably I was very nervous about it, especially because we had rented quite a large one. But then it was totally fine, you get used to it so quickly that literally 5 minutes after disembarking it felt completely normal. The bad thing about driving in the UK were the tiny country roads in the lake district (national park) that we had to somehow traverse. These "2-lane" roads had lanes 2/3 of the width of our motor home, no shoulders (none at all) and stone walls on either side, I was shitting myself everytime a car came from the other direction. Luckily it seemed the other drivers were used to motor homes, so they usually waited for us to pass in places where the roads were a bit wider. Still some of the most stressful hours of my entire life. So bad in fact that I really want to go back, the scenery was like nothing I have ever seen before, absolutely stunning
@thepersonyeah96802 ай бұрын
Man I remember this channel, the nostalgia is real. I think thats epic, getting the chance to combat social anxiety is something I would never let go. I also hate my anxiety no matter how much I tell myself that no one cares if i mess up I still overthink it. I think the modern America kinda screwed me over, there are still social people but like over 99% of people wont go anywhere from their friend group or phone, I really want to travel someday maybe to another country and hopefully fix this but only time will tell if I get that option.
