The stuff ends up being so difficult for me. I spent the last two years working in an intensive care unit and running half the hospital the same time. We’ve alternated between being completely in volume duress, complete with opening entirely new units in non-care spaces, while running code grays on anti-maskers fighting with the security guards. I’ve had patients start fights simply for implying they have Covid while they are actively dying from it. And while this was all going on I had a wife going through chemotherapy, requiring me to take extra special precautions with what the kids are exposed to at school because Covid would kill her, despite her youth and vaccination. And our schools of course is deeply conservative. But, 2 years down the road, and we’ve almost made it out.

my problem with mask in school is because it increases the already high co2 levels in a classroom (which does make it harder to learn) school classrooms already exceed 1100 ppm many times its higher, and at 945 ppm you already get a cognitive decrease of 15%. once it reaches 1400 ppm it's 50%. and no joke a mask ppm is 2150 ppm to 2875 ppm. that is not a good learning environment they should just move them outside. I would advocate for all learning to be outside permanently actually at these rates.
