Most people can follow simple assembly instructions, others can 'see' simple end goals and the best paths on how to get there...you however, are the true artist who can see the complicated and the intricate path it takes to get there. Fabulous work and video...

Hell yea! That’s not bad at all. If you want to completely eliminate the rocking then weld the old wheel base to a plate of rectangular steel to give a bigger foot print. Well done!

I made a 1" x 30 " sander out of wood scraps and vacuum cleaner motor bearings and a bicycle front hub, a wide skateboard wheel drive pulley and a thin skateboard wheel for the idler pulley. Working on a dust collector system.

That is a wicked build dude. Love the design. Personally I would have put a lip on the tension and guide pulleys to help keep the belt on track as well as the pivot. But that's my opinion. Great design. I could use one in my shop. Cheers bud!

Nice drill press control and speed, can see the shavings are continuous and not purple 👍🏻 A lot don't even use oil to drill although it keeps your drilbits in better shape 😉you do ❤️ Good welding, arc welding (electrode welding {mmaw} ) is one of my favorite things to do 😁 Although MCAW is my favorite, that's also my job 😎👨🏭 But the king in my eyes is TIG welding, nothing is more precise and controllable than that. Although arc welding is the most widely regarded as the most versatile way of welding. wind rain or weather, even hell bent for leather 😂.

When drilling holes,or countervailing holes, the bits are made to cut,or score,or evenings depending on your verbage, for almost forty years I've wondered why people(including myself) before using those tools use lubrication(oil,wd40,etc) IT DEFEATS THE PURPOSE!

You only need to tack a piece to hold it while you get it squared up. If you have it bolted or partly welded, and the piece is secure, you don't need to keep adding tacks.
