Very awkward. Hiro was a good sport considering how rude Chef Rush was toward him. He does not understand cultural expectations and respect with how to eat sushi. Sushi roles are meant to be eaten in one bite. If you are offered food from a chef that’s preparing you food as a gift, never decline it!!!! It’s very rude to decline and then make it a size contest. Also, enough with the gimmicks of being an alpha male. Just focus on your cooking and your cause and be humble. You don’t have to show off your biceps or your strength. People can physically see your arms. This was not a humble video. Hopefully you learn from these mistakes. Definitely learn about sushi culture before collaborating again so you’re more respectful next time to other people. No one is perfect, but this could have been avoided.
