This recipe is exceptional! I have made it several times already and it works every time. Easy, simple and not excruciatingly time-consuming. Although I recommend make it from one day to the other. You can adjust it to your taste of course, or keep it simple. My partner is allergic to yeast so I’ve tried several bread recipes. This one is winning so far. Once the rolls are ready I like to put various seeds on top or they can be mixed with the dough. And if you are not vegan you can brush it with egg which will give it a beautiful golden look to your bread. Thank you for this recipe. From Brazil-Australia

Instead of making my special yeast rolls, I make these every 3 days. I like to half one & toast it in my Oster toaster oven for 5 minutes & spread jam or whipped butter & have it with my breakfast. This is my go to for break fast. For the recipe I usually add a bit more Flour to the mix

Ingredients: 🎉 I cup milk 240ml 1/4 cup of olive oil (60ml) 3 tbs of sugar (45g) 1 tsp salt (5g) 1 tsp baking powder (15g) 2 and 1/2 cups of all purpose flour (320g) Drizzle with olive oil Let sit for 15 minutes Transfer into a floured corner cut into (6 parts) Round into a ball and cut the top slit Brush with milk Put in the oven for (350F/180C for 20-25 minutes Let it cool down and Enjoy ❤😊🎉

My wife and I tried this as our very first bread we've ever made. I can safely say, this recipe is *amazing.* Bread came out super tasty! We messed up just a touch, and it's a little more dense than expected. But even with that downside, it tastes fantastic. Texas, USA residents over here!

Sifting several times airs it out. My late mother sifted at least twice before using flour. I couldn’t find my sifter so I tried to use a fork but it wasn’t as effective.

Dear Savor Easy, Today, i was looking for a simple bread recipe that is available. Then i saw how simple, no yeast, no egg, not butter, no kneading and no longer waiting time. It turned out eatable and delicious. It reminds me of the biscuit from Popeyes! You never failed me. Have done some of your recipes and hats off!!! I used Bread flour since i dont have APF. I used Canola Oil. I sifted flour and baking powder. Followed your steps. I just added 1 tbsp flour coz it is bit sticky. Will do this everyday instead of buying bread I made 8 pcs. Many thanks!! It was pretty good. Made this wif bf tonight. it was simple and straight forward. The bread was very dense but a good base for butter, jam/jelly, etc. also has minimal ingredients which can be good

I wasn't sure how this was going to pan out as initially the dough was far too wet and I had to add a lot more flour to even make it workable. I used what I had which was a mixture of plain and whole wheat bread flour and soya milk. The end result was beautifully risen, sweet rolls and they tasted delicious. The sugar is probably needed to disguise the taste of the baking powder, otherwise I'd prefer without. One of the best bread roll recipes I've ever tried. Thank you. 😊

This looks great. I've heard of this being done with self rising flour and I will use that since I have it on hand. I will just leave out the salt and baking powder since that is already added to self rising flour.

I was wondering how long this bread can be stored for? I've tried this recipe today replacing APP with less wholewheat flour and added herbs and cinnamon instead of salt and sugar. Me and my friend made these and at first the mixture wasn’t even forming a dough at all, and we added a ton of flour to even make it work, and then it actually started to form, and I also worried it’d be too much flour, but it worked very well! My friend thought baking soda and powder were the same thing so we quickly looked it up and realized they weren’t, but could be replaced with baking soda and vinegar instead, and we didn’t even have non stick spray 😆 But somehow, it actually worked and it was actually good.

put milk, olive oil or sunflower oil, sugar, salt and baking powder in bowl and mix well. add 2.5 cups flour. mix well until dough is formed. drizzle eith oive oil. cover for 15 min. put on floured counter and divide into 6. round and smooth into balls. put in pan. cut slit in top of each ball. brish with milk. baje at 350F for 20 to 25 min.

But the dough won't be so perfectly firmed like that unless the milk temperature is high, possibly that's the secret of why the bread looks so perfect; like a bakery bread, without any yeast, and I would say that the bread inside looks so good and spongy like that because it's been left at least for half a day to ferment.

I tried this recipe using oat flour and tapioca flour. I needed to use more than suggested amount stated. I think it was about an extra 1/2 cup. Also, instead of using sugar I added 2 tbsp honey and I used sunflower oil. It took over 1hr for the bread to bake. My family was happy with it. I did hope to try it again and improve on the inside texture. I also used no baking powder/soda. Thank you for this recipe. It is quick to make. 🙂

The final combo after my experiments was oat flour, almond flour, tapioca flour, backing powder, salt, xanthan gum, plant milk, and oil. 👍 The xanthan gum is key for the most bread-like texture. I'm glad it's something your family enjoyed. I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw that using JUST almond flour was not going to cut it.

As someone who cooks with a lot of alternative flours, using only almond flour is not going to work well. I dunno if Savor Easy tested it with just almond flour, but because there's no binder (like egg) in this recipe, a premade gluten-free flour, or almond flour mixed with other high moisture absorption flours, is going to be your best bet. Because I knew this, I decided to only test the recipe first with roughly half the measurements. After it cooled, it crumbled annoyingly. The final combo after experiments was oat flour, almond flour, tapioca flour, backing powder, salt, xanthan gum, plant milk, and oil. 👍 The xanthan gum is key for the most bread-like texture.

@@Jaisha26 Sure! I used 1 cup oat flour 1 cup almond flour 1/2 cup tapioca flour 2 tablespoons of baking powder 1 teaspoon of salt 2 teaspoons of xanthan gum. I find that about 1/4 cup of oil (like almond oil) and 3/4 to 1 cup of plant milk is enough moisture for it to still be handled and formed into buns. 😊 Happy baking!

@@carolp.83 Yes, I've been able to do this, but you have to adjust the amount of dough based on your pan otherwise it'll be pretty short. Try to fill it till there's only about a 1/2 inch space left at the top so it'll be as tall as your pan (if that's your goal height).
