I realized I did the math wrong at 4:17, my dad ran 8.5 mph which is actually 7:04 per mile... so he actually ran 5 miles @ 7:04 😅which is pretty darn fast

Damn this video is so underrated. I was looking into how to run faster and for longer as I too want to run better. This was the only video that didn't make me want to fall asleep every couple minutes. The editing style, music choice, and everything in general was so unique, and interesting. It made me feel so engaged. Im about to leave the house and go for a run as you have motivated me. Keep up the amazing videos, I can't wait to see more from you.

"Now that i'm sadly getting older..." haha, its only just beginning. For myself I decided I only had to finish, not be faster than a target, and in your case that target is a legend. Its great you've taken this on, I've just passed 10 years, and started in my early 50s.

So relatable although only 16 now. I also started running with my dad overcame some injuries and now run a half marathon next week (if my knee pain is gone). Keep going 😁😁

Just a heads up so you don't overtrain and chase an unachievable short term goal... Your dad said his pace was 8.5 MPH... You were running 8:30/mile... That's a very big speed jump in just a few months. Please be careful.
