I did 6 years working on site for my old company, I stayed in some right shit holes over the years. Once I checked in to a hotel in Stratford and the ceiling was leaking water on my bed so they gave me another room which was still shit but at least no leak… until I went to have a shower and while the water was coming out the shower head it was also pissing out the ceiling again. So in the end I had to swap between the rooms one to sleep and one to shower, was a fucking nightmare but at least I found a few pet mice wondering round the hotel

I read a review from the demolished 2 star Caprice Hotel in Victoria, BC. "My wife woke up screaming all covered in bed bugs at 3 am..." The Balmoral, Empress and Cobalt in Vancouver are shambolic. Roaches, bedbugs and garbage in the halls. I hate cigarettes! All carpeted halls stink like crematoriums! No begbugs-now that is fantastick-OK, I'll take it!
