UPDATE in 2023 : Thank you to everyone who has watched and commented on this video! I had NO IDEA when I posted this video that it would garner the reach that it has at this stage. I pray that anyone who is feeling the same sadness, will one day find joy and healing from within. When I filmed this video back in 2020, I was going through a miscarriage, a breakdown of my marriage, and subsequent divorce all in the midst of working an abusive job during a pandemic. I didn't speak about it at the time because it was all very raw and tumultuous. Fast forward to 2023, and I am now in a place of healing, joy and contentment. I am still slightly heavier than I am even in this video, but after years of painstaking self work I finally found a place for love for myself again. Praying for peace and love for you all. Bless.

I can relate to this so much, because most of my life I’ve heard negative comments as well, because I’ve always struggled with my weight, but I’ve been on a journey of self love for sometime now. I understand no one is perfect, but God himself, and I refuse to let anyone in that doesn’t feel like love. If someone Is negative and toxic, I’m quick to protect my energy. The last 2 minutes of your vlog say it all: as you love yourself every day a wee bit more, you will come to a state of mind and body that you feel good and confident in. The exercise is only one part of this journey. For what I have seen in this vlog, I am positive that you will get there! In one of the weight loss programs I have followed was: what kind of person do I need to be in order to achieve this goal. That was mind blowing and scary at the same time. Still working on it :) as I allow myself to grow into this version of me, that appreciates and loves herself to the point of taking the right decisions for my mind and body.

Thank you doe doing this workout vlog. I just saw a commercial for this 1&done SIT workout &wanted to know if it was BS. I knew 7days wouldn't be enough time to tell but wanted to see how the moves/intensity measured up to my 30min HIIT workouts. I prev lost over 30lbs (most of it w/in the first mnth &1/2) &got in great shape doing Beach Body's 27day fix &then fix extreme (I repeated the cycles for 6mos) a few yrs ago &may just do those again. (I'm not into those meal replacement shakes or the MLM side- JUST those 2 programs, if you're ur looking for something new) unfortunately, after stopping everything I (unsurprisingly) gained most back since covid &hate how I feel. I grew up playing sports yr round & was a college athlete, then did bikini contests after that, so I don't recognize myself anymore &am too disgusted/embarrassed w/myself to even visit my hometown. I'm like u, tho, w/the getting started &being consistent til u see results being SO hard. (Plus, 80% is diet &I LOVE SWEETS😬😆) oh Good lord I'm rambling.. sorry! Lol. Thanks again for being so genuine &refreshingly vulnerable! I hope life has treated u kindly &you're happy w/where it's taken you since this vlog😊

Thank you so much for this video! I wanted to know more about this workout, and thanks to your openness to share your first week, I realized that I’m not ready for this. I also appreciated your transparency, showing your feelings in the delicate area of body image. I’m sure that many people who have a body image issues will feel empowered by this video. I have been a plus sized woman for the last 25 years, and have been treated unkindly because of this. I have learned that the most important thing is to accept yourself and don’t judge yourself through the unkindness of others. And you gave some great advice, including your comment (paraphrased)- it’s up to me to change what I don’t like.

I know what you mean as a dancer as it just helps you stay active because like zumba,salsa,afro, is so so exhausting and is a workout in itself and it makes it easier. I envy you for easily loosing facial fat. That's my problem area is my face but I kinda like my chubby face and personally think it's adorable😂😂😂 I got big arms too girl. Watching this at the gym, working out with you! And yes, there's no instant fix. Its about pushing yourself. Great job sis! So proud of you babe! That is intense! Wow! I have like 3tape measures lol. I prefer it to scales. Yeah me too i don't want to be like skinny I just want to also feel great and toned lol. Day one's meal looks so good. You are a wonderful chef!"I'm gonna do it!" Thank you for sharing! Appreciate you! Have you tried intermittent fasting? I lost a great deal of belly fat using that and increasing my protein (meat not shakes or bars). I also limited my carbs and low sugar (just berries and low glycemic natural sweetners like monk fruit). My take away from my personal experience is that the kitchen is 80%. That said, Im back on my journey with you. I relapsed all self care when I traveled for work for a year. You are beautiful inside and out AS you are. I get how you feel....its self perspective and we share both the dark and light. Sending you love and light.

Aw darling please don’t cry, god I wish I just had a little bit of tightening up to do like you have. But if you’re not comfortable in your skin and know what you want then you have to go for that, but I do think that your dancing days have caused this pain in your head in that your body was so very tight and fit then that anything different to that will feel overweight, but you really are not big in any way shape or form, honestly I would absolutely love being as big as you. So please don’t be hard on yourself because you honestly don’t have any need to be, I so wish that you could see yourself through my eyes and I have just noticed that you did this vid a year ago so I hope that you are happier now and have accepted the new you in your new life as a Chef and not a Dancer. God bless darling one, I so hope that you are happier now X

This is very relatable, I'm going through this with my body right now.. I want to be healthy and to exercise but i find it so hard being consistent ... My target zone is my stomach and to tone up my whole body.. Know how you feel this video is definitely a motivation... As someone that has lost 73 pounds, thus have made most mistakes one can make, I note that you chose to double the workout. The video by the creator of the program mentioned that she had to stop her test subjects from doing more than the seven minutes. She stressed in other places the negative effects from over exercising. From bitter experience and four miserable years with trainers in gyms pushing for 'more', that not only did I not loose weight...I became more unhealthy and exhausted. Stress does increase Cortisol. You might choose to give yourself a rest...and ease up a bit. P.S. Yup, dancing is wonderful in assisting in emotional and physical health, as is clean, fresh, and delicious sensible food choices.

First of all, I just want to say , you look great already😊 but if you don’t feel good, you will never look good to yourself 🙌🏻💜 anyhoo…Regardless of any visible results ( let’s be honest, even for 15 mins a day, 7 days may not be a long enough time to actually see results🤷🏻‍♀️, but what I do SEE , is a massive difference in your energy levels! THAT is what is going to keep you engaged in this process! Besides , feeling good mentally is the first step to feeling better physically, right? I am similar… I prefer group classes compared to working by myself at home-so far, I have never been consistent with working by myself. I used to enjoy weekly zumba and line dancing. I lost weight, pre-pandemic, by doing intermittent fasting. Just have to find a way to restart IF… once you stop, it is hard to get back to the routine. I always believe in finding an exercise you enjoy… you will stick with it.

I hear you girl!! Am going through the same challenge and to be frank I am fit overall but my lower belly is so bad. I am going to start this challenge and as you said it all about getting started.

I so understand how you feel. I weighed 98 pounds until I was 33 years old. when I got pregnant at 33 I got to 103 and then 128 just before I delivered. Somewhere along the line the weight just kept coming on no matter what I did. Now I weigh 134 and my boobs are huge and my waist about 30 and I can't budge no matter what program I used. I tried this Svelte program and gained 1 pound after two weeks. I'm trying now to get my money back. Through my research I think I found that I have a sleep issue. I know I've had sleep problems for years but am learning that poor sleep will stifle weight loss. NOW I'm working on that. I am praying for you. Stress doesn't help either. Keep up the good attitude.

Ive been trying les mills on demand and ive noticed a lot of results with my tummy doing the body combat videos. They have some free trial stuff on KZbin. It really helps me mentally so its my new found love. They have dance, barre and yoga stuff too if youre into that.

...proud of your motivation....it appears not to have made much difference...my tip - quick results - replace ALL animal prods with plant powered foods - i.e. any fav meat to spiced up tofu, jackfruit, hearts of palm, mushrooms, beans, etc...I promise you will see happy results before 2 weeks....all fish & meat is high fat with lots of inflammatory, toxic chemicals ...with Love....

Have you considered going back to dancing? Not to the level as before but there is also strength in numbers. Make it fun by doing it with others! 🤗 It will also boost your self-esteem.

It's not really possible to do it right now with the current global situation. Our town is currently still rising in case numbers and I'm playing on the side of caution when it comes to activities outside of home. I would like to get back to it one day though. Thanks for watching ❤❤❤

I find it so hard to get good exercise with my work schedule. I know it's possible, but I'm lazy. I get up at 5:30ish to get ready for work and then get home just after 6pm. There's plenty of time after work to do some kind of workout. I just struggle sooo hard. I'm on my feet almost all day at work, so when I get home... Well... Yeah.. But I so desperately keep trying. Like you I'm definitely not fat. But I'm definitely not fit. I just want to feel good in my own body. I want to feel healthy. I have struggled so long and so hard with anorexia. Starving myself so I could be "beautiful." Now I have a wonderful fiance who has been pushing me to eat healthy meals, have a healthy body weight. With that healthy weight, I now have a "softness" I just hate myself for. It's rough, a lot of men and women struggle with this. Self love comes from inside, not outside. It starts with recognizing everything your body has been through and it still pulls through. Anyway, you're beautiful. So so beautiful.

You’re very cute. Keep going! But, you’re right about just doing the 7 minutes. Better to do what’s doable long term to see results than just go all out and stop after 7 days. Because being slim and in shape is all lifestyle. It’s a way of life.

I’m not sure what made you so sad, so I will try to share with you some words of encouragement. Remember that other people won’t see the flaws you focus on in yourself. Try to be kind to yourself as a first step, try to be your own best friend first. If you show others how you love and value yourself as a first step, their lens of you should follow. 🙏💗🥰

Hi! I feel like you should put more effort into doing the workout, since it’s almost considered a HIIT workout. Go all out! Give it your best! Don’t do it two times, do it once only but with full power!
