When doing a session that includes pushups, sit ups, leg raises, I get up after every set, so, with mobility training, rocking, rolling, movements like bird dogs and dead bugs, I might get down and up 30 or 35 times. I turned 70 in February, and see this as a crucial ability to maintain, Thanks. Jeff

I've been actually thinking about adding Dan John's "Get Down Get Ups" into my regular movement mix. He recommends you practice getting up from front, left, right, back, then hold one of your hands against the opposite shoulder during it so you only have one hand available, etc.
