Thanks Roman for releasing such niche products which you can hardly get rich with. It's clear you are simply committed to overclocking community and you deserve a big thumbs-up. I always purchase TG stuff for my high-end builds because they rock and I also want to support you. Greetings from Slovakia.

I see Thermal Grizzly on a whole bunch of youtube channels and they have ALWAYS spoken high of the products, but not once did they mention they had anything to do with you. I only learned of your channel from hearing about the NO2 OC Challenge with JTC and GN and how much they gave you praise on their videos from time to time. but I had NO CLUE what to expect on your channel and I have been NOTHING BUT IMPRESSED!!!!! Just did my first lapping of an IHS and my coolermaster tower cooler on an older I7-6900K. What a huge difference it has made, I should have recorded the changes before and after. Topping out with 300 or 400mhz over clocks at either 4.2ghz or 4.3ghz all cores with highest temps reaching 72°C. Thing used to hit mid to high 80's under full load all core testing at base boost speed of 3.9 Heck thing actually runs more like 64° with the lesser overclock. Can't recommend lapping enough if you have a wonky IHS and cooler. Should point out, it obviously wasn't just the lapping that produced such drastic results. Lapping, plus better quality thermal paste, a large fan was installed on the side of the case, remaining 4 fans were changed, 2 had their positions modified, and everything was cleaned. Still a night and day difference, the lapping, thermal paste, and new large fan have breathed new life into the old computer. If it wasn't for this channel and Frame chasers I wouldn't have had the confidence to wet sand a processor that originally set me back like 1500$ Canadian when brand new.

My laptop was running mid to high 70s. I just cleaned the fans and reapplied thermal paste. Now it tops out at low to mid 60s. Lapping probably has great benefits for overclocking though

Saw this product being reported about here in sweden. Cool neat solution! I bought hermal grizzly conductonaut for the first time 2 weeks ago to bin a K6-3+ 400@616Mhz 2.175V and a K6-2+ 570@672Mhz 2.13V 24h prime95 stable for a friend plus one for me. Motherboards stopped me from going higher on the K6-2+. IHS was replaced with a laped AMD Sempron copper one because there also plated on the inside as you know, original IHS is aluminum so would melt XD Got like 4500 3Dmark2000 points with the K6-3+, think the World Record is like 5K+ cant remember, no real tweaks was used. Set a new personal new best SS7 CPU OC with that and building up an awesome mid 2000 late upgrade Super Socket 7 rigg and so is my friend! Love modern computing to (have Ryzen 3900XT for main rigg) but old stuff are fun and using modern techniques, tools and products and experience gained over the years to fix and push old stuff is just as much fun! I know you love old cool stuff to so! Anyways great products!

This is for proper IHS contact. As is the lapping. With direct die the cooler is the ILM. In other words, there's no need to modify the mounting pressure system, it's part of the direct die solution. So, if that's engineered properly it's not a factor.

@@der8auer-enHi, I just bought Gigabyte B760M GAMING X DDR4 + I3-13100F and Zalman CNPS9X Performa ARGB Black, but I want to replace it with I5-13400 or even I5-14400 in the future, so as I'm on 13th Gen processor do I need to install this frame?

Just chiming in to say thank you! I just installed the contact frame for my 12900k, and it no longer throttles!

The main thing why plastic cant be used is that it won't be able to sustain the mechanical loads involved here without deforming. The youghs modulus is way too low, especially for common 3D printer plastics

Would this bend issue cause an issue I'm experiencing with my Rog Maximus Z690 Extreme as when I reboot my system it fails to boot and the LiveDash shows Detect Memory and the only way to boot is to do a complete power cycle. 3 firmware updates has not resolved the issue and I have confirmed my Memory is supported.

I gotta add a comment here… I’ve got 2 3D printers that have a tolerance of 10 microns. That totally satisfies the 40 micrometer tolerance. That being said… I’d still rather buy the thermal grizzly part. It’s pretty.

that's pretty impressive tho. What kind of printers are these?

That's cool and all but you don't want the contact frame to be plastic because it will morph due to the CPU temps.

I have a question, pardon my ignorance: but is this product for extreme overclocking in LGA 1700? or is it also intended to use for general use as well? I will *very soon* be upgrading to the LGA 1700 platform and am concerned that there are apparently reports of CPUS bending, which I didn't know about.

Similiar product was made in China ealier, and the seller mentioned that using mental material would cause signal interference more or less, did you consider this condition also?
