Yes high interest rates are pinching but Govt of Canada never assured for low interest rates. Tim Macklem said that the rates will be low for the long time. Tim / BOC is independent body and it should remains independent. BOC adjusts rate as per inflation and employment factors etc. btw inflation is a global phenomenon. I agree with the caller that racisms is way less compared to 2 decades back, it was way high in 2000 and many times i have to face it during those times.

Agree. Sadly, behavior and tone of show was exactly opposite of what topic was about. Since when not giving blanket immigration is racism? How is "My show, my way otherwise don't be here" mentality different from canadians who tell the same "These are our immigration laws, if you don't like then don't come or don't stay". Hosts, please don't take it personal but just a friendly suggestion thst if cannot tolerate opposing views then make it a podcast rather than live. Thank you.

Trudeau and Jagmeet are on last breath of their political career. Both have been harboring wrong intention elements/extremists and adding fuel to fire. Enough damage done. @@AmritpalSingh-hl8tm Solution to students in canada? Give them second chance by: 1. Asking to complete IELTS in canadian center (no fee charged) 2. Qualify to be enrolled in a high demand trade skill at public technical college (not a 12x12 shop rented in a plaza) 3. Send progress report each quarter. 4. Upon successful completion give work permit. 5. Anyone who doesn't meet this criteria, show the door. Sounds good?

@@user-ez2mj2wf1b yeah sounds good nd also need to make some laws for landlords who are keeping 10-15 people in one home nd also need to stop these fake mortgage scams by linking cra to banks. In case someone still found doing it then deport them nd set a example. Laws without fear are waste when people know they can get away doing wrong things
