Honestly, I don't hate the Peugeot brand, I was just poking fun at the fact that they historically have a less-than-stellar reputation in terms of reliability; I recognise that, at least nowadays, they deliver a far more formidable product. Also, I say this as a racing fan: a car brand's racing and consumer reputation are completely separate. For example, Lamborghini are a very well-respected performance brand, but aren't known for winning much in categories that aren't specifically Lambo-centric; conversely, Buick has plenty of wins, championships, and other sorts of accomplishments in motorsport, but the roadgoers still have a reputation of being middle-of-the-road (wordplay not intended) family cars that nobody really has any interest in.

@@TotoDG There was one generation of peugeots, as other french brands, which had electronics reliability issues in the late 90s early 2000s when those started to really expand and appear on every car. Not limited to them, german cars of the era had similar issues. Peugeots were extremely reliable before, and reliable since. Driving one professionnally for a few years, the only issue i ever found was the rear gear shifting, which sometimes didn't pass well. Maybe dependant on how well the car break-in unfolded( not every in the fleet had that issue). As for reaching speeds, again, a 1T 208 will be pleasant, but won't accelerate greatly with a 70 HP engine. If you took the GTI model with 200HP however... So yeah, good if you got a few laughs, but i find it pretty empty and lame.
