I was thinking the same as you. The BBC albums converted to stereo is a fantastic idea! I've listened to Eric records converting 50s mono records to stereo. The technology is there. Keep up the great work!

thx Billy. Yeah, it's fun, even if just as a curiosity to hear it differently. I also cranked up the frequencies so that the bass and upper end are are more full and that helps I think. Not everybody likes it, but I enjoy it. Would be nice to be able to post it all, but alas, not allowed.

A way to get around KZbin restrictions is to post the songs on Vimeo, you can post full songs there without restrictions.

I just wanted to tell you this is great what your doing and your hard work is appreciated.It's just a shame it has taken 50 years for most people to see these all these video's. I was doing what you are doing in a much more primitive way in the 80's putting good audio on all the bootleg vhs tapes that I had at that time. I still have them all but whatever you can find on youtube is better versions of the same bootlegs I have. Keep doing them because you are doing a great job.

Hey Carter Thanks for the nice encouragement. I had an old version of the 65NME concert up but someone pulled it down. I have some videos in the queue that I want to post but I’m having trouble finding a time and I’d rather polish them up a bit. The cool thing is that these new posts will mostly be in new stereo and I think they sound a lot better but it depends on a persons tastes of course. KC color looks great. nice job. here's something funny: the Paul McCartney Hulu Special "321" from July 2021, includes a clip from this video broadcast and I believe that they took the audio mix off my channel. You might compare it yourself -- Episode 6 at 6:23. Sounds the same to me. Don’t know if it was accidental or intentional but there you go. If they had waited I could've made a stereo version which would've sounded better. So watch out -- maybe Apple will take your color version! Cheers

Hey Dave, what program do you use to clean up the footage?

an old version of Sony Vegas, which was originally for audio. And then a ton of plugins depending on what the source sound is like. Generally, analog VST plugins work the best for my ears, but everyone's taste is different.

@@CartersRemasters -- that's cool. yeah, some AI stuff is impressive, but it has to be tweaked. There's usually some artistic judgment needed too. Someday the AI may get really good with the black and white
