I made this and naturally released 27 minutes I went a little over from yours but perfect texture not too soft and mushy my only way to make to make it now I didn’t rinse my rice as you mentioned but I do white rice like basmati I’m wondering why you decided not to rinse it is it less starchy please explain?

Natta, I do rinse other types of rice. I choose not to rinse parboiled rice since it's already partially cooked. I am not sure if I've rinsed and cooked, don't remember. I'm thinking it would still be okay. Thanks for your question.
