how do insurance companies not go bankrupt after this?
@LeahLewis-ny9iu2 ай бұрын
Ben, I have to say, you’ve not only built great wealth, but you’ve also raised such wonderful kids. I’m honestly at a loss for words right now. The hurricane has devastated almost everything I had. My home is barely standing, and I’m unsure if insurance will cover the full extent of the damage. Thankfully, my family and I are safe, but where do you even begin to rebuild after something like this? Sending prayers your way to you and your beautiful family.
@ChloeCarter-kd7gz2 ай бұрын
I truly sympathize with everyone affected by this situation. Watching the video before Milton’s involvement really puts things into perspective-what a great piece of work. Ben, God bless you. My heart goes out to you in light of what you’re going through. Have you been able to connect with any disaster relief services yet? I know FEMA and the Red Cross are setting up stations to assist with immediate needs, but I can only imagine how overwhelming this must be for you.
@EricaWaters-lr6zw2 ай бұрын
I really appreciate how Ben doesn’t just focus on the positive aspects of investing in real estate but also takes the time to address the challenges and risks involved. That kind of honesty earns a lot of respect. I’m hoping to hear that you and your family are safe-it’s clear from how your kids speak that you’re a man who deeply cares for them. Sending love and prayers your way. I’ve been working with my financial advisor, Desiree Ruth Hoffman, and she’s been invaluable in guiding me through this tough time, helping me restructure my financial plan and identify available resources. Lewis, if you haven’t already, I highly recommend speaking with a financial professional. They can help you assess your situation, rebuild where necessary, and make the most of your insurance and any available aid.
@AshleyKeith-vw7ws2 ай бұрын
From a community perspective, we’re focusing on bringing more resources to the areas hit hardest. If you need assistance with navigating insurance claims or applying for government aid, we’ve established a dedicated hotline for support. As Oliver Liam mentioned, there are financial services available to assist in situations like yours, whether through advisors like Desiree or through direct government relief programs. The key is to take it one step at a time.
@LeahLewis-ny9iu2 ай бұрын
That all makes sense, but it’s difficult to focus on finances at the moment. I genuinely appreciate the advice, though. I suppose the first step is determining where to begin and getting the right support in place.
@EricaWaters-lr6zw2 ай бұрын
Exactly,. It’s about small steps. You’ve already done the most important thing, which is keeping your family safe. Now, it's about tapping into all the resources available, one at a time. I’d be happy to give you Desiree’s contact if you’re interested-she could really help you form a clear plan.

I used to work for a Fire and Water restoration company back in the day. Located in P.A., we would drive to places like Florida, Louisiana, Texas, Tennessee, etc. all affected by storms. We would dry out commercial buildings and did most of the work seen in this video. It was hard work with long hours, and was away from family and friends for months at a time. I got to go to many places and seen the devastation first hand. Mainly, from hurricanes Katrina in Louisiana. I remember talking to an old local guy who said his home was destroyed multiple times from hurricanes over the course of his lifetime, and would never leave, just keep rebuilding. I found that fascinating as I would have moved after the first disaster!

Ben isn’t trying to sell a class on real estate. (Saying the following to his channel) No offense to this channel meant or in plied. And I’m gonna continue to take a deep dive on this channel because I respect experience. And I always wanna learn from the real og’s. But I’ve never seen anyone as easy to learn from or believe in as I’d do with Ben Mallah. He easily admits his faults and shortcomings. Many men will brag, few men will admit when they make a mistakes. I respect that quality in Ben. Good luck to everyone trying to better them selves. And thanking you to those who have learned, struggled, yet achieved who help others. (But please don’t tell too many people lol) Ben you’re the fucking man period! They'll just raise rates to pay for all of it. Insurers even have insurance to get by in the short term. The first company Warren Buffet bought outright was GEICO and he used the "float" from GEICO to buy much of the Bershire Hathaway portfolio instead of borrowing money that has to be repaid. That should tell you something about the wisdom of carrying lots of insurance. No risk, no reward. You're not going to get rich putting money that could be invested into expensive insurance. Just don't buy so much nonsense, accept a high deductible and shop around, buy everything used and you'll have plenty left to invest and eventually be self insured. Kudos to the Mallahs for being the rare people who can manage debt intelligently enough to get ahead, but Buffet's cardinal rule is to avoid debt because it usually depletes wealth more than it expands it.

The state tax-payer funded insurance fund is probably going to be bankrupted after this mess. They cover for everything that insurance can't cover. Insurance rates are going to probably double or triple after this. You're going to see a lot of real estate prices crash in Florida factoring in the new cost of insurance. It's going to be like paying 2 mortgages simultaneously.

can’t imagine what my ancestors went through while enduring whatever storm was in their path, but today I can close my eyes and picture the older adults in Texas. They do not share my culture or skin color, but they represented exactly what it means to endure suffering. They were living in a disaster, in fear, uncertain if they were sitting in their actual water grave. They were calm, possibly praying that their families were safe and sound while they sat waist-deep in floodwaters. I’m pretty sure had they lost their lives, their souls would not have been tagged with the next disaster or tangled up in headlines because they wanted to avenge their suffering by suing the nursing home. I believe their reactions and emotions were in line with what my ancestors felt at the time.

That was great camera work. Most people would have missed that water coming out. Big ups to Rafal. You lose him and the whole thing ends. Talk about essential personnel. Talk about a pay raise, Rafal. It's time.
